I was working just across the bay in ardgroom when this video was taken. Happened to find the black shop in 96 with my then girlfriend who is now my wife. fantastic memories. Still love calling in on our annual holidays.Rip Arron,My beautiful son.you were always looked after so well in the black shop.
My grandmother born in 1911 grew up in Behaghane, they were the O learys. The ruins of the great grandparents house in still there. There was a Mattie Brennan up there as well, they were related to my grandmother. Her brother was known as the fiddler below in the Black Shop. She was related to Jeremiah O Sullivan and the people at Casey's cove. I met all these people when I was a kid. A lot of my grandmothers siblings went to America but Nora married a Tipp man in London in 1940 and came back home to Tipperary in 52. Nora died in 87, been down there several times throughout the years, I live in Limerick.

Amazing video. Blackshop is our favorite pub in Ireland. We have a home in Sneem and go daily when there. Love it
