Ok so it's a question for both scape and ruffels (or more like give openion)....do u think that we really need this many legendary weopens....I mean yeah going legendry end game is the way but I think there are so many legendaries which shouldn't be (scorpius and repeater am talking to you🫵🏻). Also the 'unlock as you progress' system is heavily dependent on the power balance as we progress. So now as we have seen the addition of new gears ....is it balanced to have have of the gears full of legendary stuff which don't even justify it's value? For example...now if I want to buy seeker I will have to 7 legendary items from the previous gear ....most of which aren't even worth 8k acoins let's be real. So I think .... having atleast some epic or high rare (rare but cost a bit more) in each of the end gears may balance it out .... atleast we will have the options to choose our way 💀. Also I think instead of buffing the weak ones...and nerfing the already balanced ones (arcs) ...it would have been better if they gave a bit more time deciding their rarities. Like if chains were an epic ...it would have been a totally great investment....and if the embers were legendary and repeaters were epic ...it would also have been justified well.

i think the goal should not be to "demote" any of these low-performing items, but to give them the buffs they need. Devs are on the right path with Chain Gun. Until recently, devs spent basically all their extra resources on the tanking issue, and only just now talk about rebalances, so its not that they dont know or dont care, its that they have limited time (to a point where they opt to save time by not making Achievement skins, yes thats a real thing). Will they continue to try to make profit with new items? obviously. But also, "Arc being balanced" is entirely dependent on your reference point. They seem fine to me (even a little weak) at Tier 8/9, but they absolutely annihilate Tier 3/4, so the question is: is it better to balance them for T3/4 at the expense of T8/9, or should it be the opposite? And that is not, imo, an "objective" call, its up to the devs.
I’m trying to get Plarium to revert Aegis to its old state, this is my current essay: Aegis needs to be reverted immediately. Before the rework, Aegis and Panther had their own specific niches and coexisted peacefully, with neither being an overbearing presence, but after the rework: 1: Aegis counters that were already better than mechs of their grade like Surge and Guardian were used more 2: Panther is unviable because Aegis just outshines it entirely 3: Aegis has too little risk to use and is much less fun to use 4: Aegis is more annoying to fight because you are forced to run away from it with no way to reasonably get inside, shoot around, or break the dome without using direct counters, and even then, Aegis has strong enough HP and Energy Capacity to beat a lot of mechs one on one without its dome. Finally, although people started buying aegis more, they also started buying panther less, so the profit gain will likely slow down significantly in the future once the hype rush is dead and people have already invested into their aegi. And additionally, y’all should make the best mech in the game a legendary mech that costs more if you really want to make money off of meta mechs. Aegis is waaaaay cheaper than the other meta mechs to buy with both acoins and money, so it would be beneficial to keep Aegis as an off-meta pick so that it doesn’t steal the spotlight from more expensive legendary mechs. I hope y’all hear me out and consider changing Aegis to the way it was before the rework for the health and profit of the game, as I believe that this is one of the best decisions that could be made for Mech Arena right now. Are there any points to add or change that you can think of?

@@CorruptdKetchupYou are telling all this as if Aegis is OP and noone can touch him. To be real, Surge, Nomad and Eclipse are the real prob, they are top 3 mechs by far IMO. Eclipse is fast and immune to all debuffs which means most of mech abilities wont affect him, plus it can't be spotted on radar or be shot by any lock on weapons. Surge has stealth and EMP that lasts enough to kill anyone plus it can dash into anything and kill it, Nomad deals crazy dmg with his dash plus he got 2 of them and both dashes give him HP of a tank (60% dmg reduction for 6 sec). Aegis can easily be countered by Nomad, I kill 4 star Aegis which have 100k HP with my 3 star Nomad/Ember 6 build. Surge can dash into his dome and he will get EMPd, Eclipse can also sneak up on him but kinda harder counter than other 2, Seeker can teleport even if he is in his Dome so yeah... And definitely epic mechs should have their place in endgame, some legy mechs and weapons surely underperform in endgame but thats how it is. If Nomad, Surge, Eclipse and myb Seeker received some nerf along with snipers maybe we would find other legy stuff more powerful and useful in endgame.

Itd be an active detriment if I included abilities. Abilities are their own thing, if I wanted to include them you'd see a Minigun Brickhouse at the top as well, which would lead players to false sense of how effective things are, as well as providing no legitimate information for players who just want a weapon for an anti-Aegis build. My goal was just to show how each weapon performs, and let players assign them to mechs accordingly.

Max level Aegis (so 750k shield HP). I only used 16-energy weapons in this video (plus Frag 14), so maybe the 12s will have to be for another time ;)
