yes but when rubbing graphite on the reverse of the image it's best not to do it directly on top of watercolour paper or you can get the original drawing image appearing on the watercolour paper as can be seen in your demo, albeit faintly.
I noticed when you did that the image you had traced transfered to your paper. This is the problem I have with homemade graphite transfer paper. The graphite transfers smudges where ever there is any pressure, leaving unwanted marks. I am trying to find a transfer paper that is truly erasable and doesn't do this.
I use a kneaded eraser to clean up smudges. Also, the homemade transfer paper is less apt to smudge if the graphite is dissolved and distributed with isopropyl alcohol applied to a cotton ball or soft rag.
At the risk of stating the obvious, if you can draw the image on tracing paper and then transfer it to drawing paper, why not just draw the image on drawing paper in the first place!
Now I finally know what my top 3 Favorite Graphite Stick 😅 Pencil is Called I Found It Playing Dora the Explorer about 6 months ago 😂 AWESOME WORK 😊
The 6B pencil and the painter's tape from my last class will come in handy here.
Thank you! I was needing to know how to use this stuff.
I'm glad it helped you. Thanks for commenting.
Nice!! Thank you for this video! Been wanting to try out painting and this has helped tremendously!

Which is easily erased when it happens. Thanks for your comment.

As part of a larger design or illustration development process, graphite transfer is often appropriate.
