You’re a monster at educating. Thank you for breaking down the effect to the smallest molecule.
Thank you for the concise and detailed explanation of this effect. This was super helpful.
Love your channel! You cover all important detail, and answer all my questions, even down to comparing with CC Force Motion Blur at the end, thank you!
this is so helpful, thank you! i also noticed you can use pixel motion blur for a video star motion blur effect on clips which is super cool as well
Dope. I’ve been using this when I shoot 60fps and do all kinds of time remapping and digital zooms. Makes such a difference
Your animation skills are unreal. Loving these short and sweet overviews of all of the effects.
This is very useful. Thanks again Jake.
Thanks Jake, once again!
Best explained ❤
Thanks 🤝
Thank you!
Incredible explanation. Now I get it. :)
Cool tutorial.
thank you
Just wanted to say, you're wrong about CC Force Motion Blur - it does work with Vectors since I've already used it on rendered video footage.
It takes alot longer than Pixel Motion Blur but it does work
I came to say the same thing. I think their problem is they are trying to use it on an adjustment layer which has no vector details to begin with. If they precomp it or use it on the footage layer itself, it will work. CC Force Motion Blur is beautiful at the cost of render time. I use it depending on the project/need.
@@kuunami yes.
Awesome insight! Maybe someone can help me with this: what would be de difference between this effects and something like RSMB in terms of its capabilities and limitations? Like, I know Pixel Blur it's included, but in a few test that I have done (real-life footage record with high shutter speed) the results have been pretty similar.
This is a game changer for OBJ animations with Element 3D and stuff like that. Huge thanks.
Whats difference between this and force Motion Blur Effect? And the purchased RSMB?
These videos are for forever reference!
Did you render the 3D using octane or red shift? It’s really tight!
Thanks! I used redshift for this video, but the original was just the physical renderer.
when I apply it nothing happens
Do you know why pixel motion blur doesn't work on time reversed clips? Is there a easy work-around?
Edit: Precomping then time reversing and applying pmb on the comp works
Why pixel motion blur doesn't have in after effect CS4 ?
Great video! :) Any idea why pixel motion blur is skipping frames?
I'd suspect this isn't a pixel motion blur issue, but just a frame rate issue. If your footage has any duplicate frames, due to FPS mismatch, AE will stop the motion blur effect on the second duplicate frame so it may seem as if the effect has stopped. To test this, try other motion blur filters. I suspect you'll find the same results.
Hello sorry but i didn't understand what is motion vector and what exactly is a vector ?
You skipped an important step. How do you get the time filters? I have installed AE.
