    Nice video coverage of Swaziland.
    I learnt quite a lot about the people in such a small country that is landlocked by South Africa and Mozambique.
    The Eswatini people have a rich culture and history.

      I'm not sure why the name change. I hope someone here explains.

    • @sphesihlesibanyoni2839
      @sphesihlesibanyoni2839 9 місяців тому

      it didn't change it is now called by the country indigenous language Siswati ,the people are call Emaswati thus the land is Eswatini, Swaziland is merely an English version after it was named by the british colony

    • @BM-dr4eu
      @BM-dr4eu 5 місяців тому

      When the colonialists arrived it was called Eswatini not Swaziland. So 50years afyer independence from Britain the King decided to return to the original name as part of the independence celebrations. So it’s more of a restorative measure rather than ‘change’ per se coz it was always called eSwatini in the local language

    Unfortunately that wasn't the reed dance,that was just reed,the reed dance is when the Virgin girls pick up reed and then they dance using the reed that is why its called the reed dance (umhlanga)
