Nice and to the point. Thanks. So many people want to give a damn tour of their tomato garden in a video about a tractor 😂.
Appreciate a good garden tour, when I’m searching for information about gardens.

pretty cool hydraulic electric tools are. expensive but easy enough. very powerful and useful tools to have around.

Keep working on this, PLEASE! I just bought a Grove lift and love it, but I'm sure I'll see some of what you're going to be fixing. I'd love to see some troubleshooting. It would also be awesome if you could make a lift playlist. Thanks for posting these!

Meyers snowplow solenoid can be used sometimes.
On end of pintle inside valve body there are orings that break and you lose hydraulic pressure. Unscrew clean check. Ohm out solenoid s should not be open infinite or grounded zero ohm.

Thanks. Sometimes, I wonder if I just should have bought an already working model but, my cheapness kicks in and assures me that this is the right way to go because a working one could have develop the same problems. lol

I use the jeweler head set from Harbor Freight with the 2 fold down magnifiers to read those hard to see numbers. How about just getting new Manual control valve bodies from Tractor supply or and on line agricultural supply or Northern Hydraulic and mount them where they are easy to get to and operate.

I thought about getting some from the Surplus Center but, it creates a whole new set of challenges and expenses trying to put them in series with the existing bankable control valves and no power beyond port(s). You also have to buy relief valves.

You can try MinnPar, they own Grove now. (800) 889-3382. Any competent hydraulics shop should be able to hook you up with parts or parts that can be adapted.

Finding these discontinued parts that no one seems to know anything about is even more difficult than trying to find the time to work on 'em! lol

Working on old equipment can sure be a pain when no one has any parts and no one knows what the heck your're talking about.
