I would be careful with how many intervals you dose with such a small total dose. This type of dosing pump isn’t super accurate below 1ml. So by dividing 4 ml up over 7 intervals you’re asking the pump to dose 0.57 ml per interval. If the pump is only accurate to ~1ml, you might get as little as 0 ml and as much as 7 ml in a day. I would propose you either do 4ml all at one time per day, or dilute 1 part of your dosing solution with 9 parts RO water and then dose 40ml per day. That way if you divide the dose over 7 intervals, you’re likely to get between 5-6 ml per dose, which equates to 3.5-4.2 ml per day, which is much closer to your desired value of 4ml. This dilution is what I do for my nano tank to improve dosing accuracy. Hope this helps!
You're my favourite reef celebrity. I think alot of us are inspired by you to start a reef / marine tank, but we are daunted by it. If you could do a series, where you talk about starting out in detail, speak your thoughts and walk us through the entire start, that will be awesome! I know it's asking alot, but in my mind, you're the best person to do it. Thanks.
I have 4 sexy shrimp in my daughters 10gallon waterbox and it doesn’t mess with my zoa garden or acans they have bin in my tank for 3 months guess we will have to see long term. Thanks for the video.
You have what looks like a fuge light, lighting the whole tank at night. That specific spectrum is there to grow algae. Do you see more algae in your display after doing that? I'd use something to block the light to your display.
I have shrimp in my tank and I know my peppermint shrimp will feed on my coral if I get lazy and forget to feed they go for my chalice and clean it to it's skeleton so I have to feed good my skunk cleaner shrimp don't bother any of my corals I have urchins I found they are great cleaners as well as trocus snails.
Definitely keep an eye on the Sexy Shrimp they love ripping and eating LPS flesh as well even when kept well fed....had to get them out of my reef in the end ..definately not reef safe
The lack of good UI/UX designers in the aquarium software world is staggering. As a React Dev, if I ever released something that looked like that, my days would be numbered...
Tropic Marin All-for-Reef. He says it really quietly at 2:44, and I confirmed on his Instagram (he had a photo of the bottle next to this dosing pump).
Usually I try to do a nice cleaning around the tank and cut back feeding a little bit if I felt like I over going a bit overboard.. once I have tried those, I usually goto GFO next. I usually go with the recommended amount temporarily and try not to go too overboard and strip everything!
Hi all! quick question, when my pump doesn't proceed to dosage for some time (like 24h), the inlet tube liquid slowly flows back to the solution container. What can i do about it because i thought peristaltic would retain the liquid when off ?

Fantastic advice, I have changed it to just twice a day, thank you very much Noel, it makes complete sense.

Love your videos! Still in middle of watching it lol
Really cool dosing pump. Looks easy to setup and use with the app. 👍🏻

Look nice and the progress is cool but I think the same thing about the sexy shrimp the attack your corals

Crazy to hear you talk about ricks been going there since I was a kid
That's awesome, great LFS!!
Inappropriate Reefer yeah he used to have a macaw when I was little and I’d always feed it crackers when my mom would go there for cat food
Havent seen the video yet. Want to save it for work tomorrow lol dropped a like for support
Great video...as always got to bug you..about getting the 150 gall...up and running...lol...thanks
Love those little shrimp!
Any follow up on this doser? How often does it need to be recalibrated? Is it still accurate? Is it reliable? Would you buy another one?
Definitely keep an eye on the Sexy Shrimp they love ripping and eating LPS flesh as well even when kept well fed....had to get them out of my reef in the end ..definately not reef safe
Great video and I love coral box brand
Have you ever used IV bags (intravenous bags) for dosing?
Sweet...getting ready to purchase one of these for my 14g . Was wondering how it worked.

Great vid. I rewound and checked back but missed what you're dosing? Was it kalkwasser?

@@noeldavis618 Thanks
So what the update on this pump what the pros and cons on it ?????
Hi, so everytime you run into diatom, or algae, you just run gfo? And how much amount should we use? I have a nano tank 13.5 gals too. Thanks man

How is this holding up? Are you still using it after three years?
Any chance their just eating algae off the rim of the hammer?
Highly doubt it
How are your freshwater shrimps doing?

👊👍
I bought the jebao doser and it just sat in the box for months now because I need to set time aside to figure it out 😑
How is the four channel doser? Thinking of getting something to replace my Marine Magic.
Hi there just wondering how you getting along with this doser. Im thinking of getting this 1 to use with all for reef aswell
Working perfectly 👍👍
@@InappropriateReefer will make the purchase then thanks
How do you keep your BTA from taking over the entire tank?
What exactly do you dose for your tanks? I just picked up Seachem Complete for my reef tank. Just a few corals and starting off.
That's not the worlds smallest single channel dosing pump. The Zetlight D100 is a tad smaller than the Coral box and it's also wifi controlled.
What light are you using for the refugium?
What do you dose with the single doser?
I'm dosing Tropic Marin's All-for-Reef
They are worth the risk lol
What color spec is your frogspawn? :D
Do a giveaway plz😜
