He didn't answer the first question about whether he sacked Hancock or asked him to resign on Friday. It is pretty sure given the the timeline that the answer was Yes. Otherwise how would things have moved so swiftly, if the P.M only made a move when he received Hancock's carefully considered resignation letter on Saturday.
