Great Video - Your right in that the transaction cost on Eth needs to drop materially for it to gain wider adoption. However not having these performance and cost savings not exist on the layer one is disappointing. I personally like to keep to layer one and have found layer twos to be sketchy and involve too many transformations between the two layers.
I remember looking at etherium awhile ago and price at the time was somewhere around $800 au.. pretty bummed I didn't buy some while I had the loose funds.. now I'm broke at again and zero ability to buy any..

Honestly I don't think any of these upgrades will affect the price of Ethereum. I think at the end of the day it just comes down to adoption, hype and macro economics. Just my .02 and coming from a mentally handicapped middle aged out of touch man.
