Sean O'Malley (born October 24, 1994) is an American professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Bantamweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he is the current UFC Bantamweight Champion. As of August 22, 2023, he is #8 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.
Marlon Vera (born December 2, 1992), also known as Chito Vera, is an Ecuadorian professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Vera gained entry into the UFC after appearing on the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America. As of May 9, 2023, he is #6 in the UFC bantamweight rankings.

Easiest possible fight in the division, is not the same thing as the biggest fight in the division..That is the UFC still protecting O'Malley..Not fighting the number one ranked guy with a ten fight winning streak ; Merab..Or the guy who just beat the sheet out of Chito for 5 rounds, 2 fights ago ; Corey.. Or the guy who arguably beat O'Malley, and lost from a bad decision ; Petr Yan..

@@SugaZay5 Those are all FACTS dude..Merab ranked number one on a ten fight winning streak..Corey just beat the snot out of Chito for 5 rounds..Petr lost the decision against O'Malley but won on most of the media's score cards...I like O'Malley, but, fight the best guys, not the guys that you know you will beat, or a guy in another division, so you can make a quick million, and go back to being champion after you lose..
@@realeyesrealizereallies6828 you’re statement was it wasn’t the biggest fight, the ufc is a business they are trying to make the most money, that was the 4 highest ppv gate in ufc history, definitely was the highest bantamweight title fight in ufc history. To the petr yan fight… the number one scoring criteria in the ufc is damage, now if you look at me with a straight face and say petr did more damage than Sean, you’re delusional, look at both of their faces at the end of the fight. Sean is fighting merab next, no need to get butt hurt about who he’s fighting, he just knocked out aljo, beat petr yan, and smashed Chito, also Cory didn’t have near the performance on Chito as Sean did. The Chito fight made perfect sense due to the fact Chito had a win over him, controversial or not.
Oh also to mention if Sean knocks out merab I don’t see a problem in moving up to fight ilia, before you start yappin about Cory, I agree they should fight, and they will, but no need to push that fight right away after merab because Sean is a big star, the numbers speak for themselves, it would be huge for the ufc, and the only reason I’m saying Cory is a fight that sugar doesn’t need drastically is because Cory lost to aljo and petr 🫶🏻
@@SugaZay5 That card was stacked, and that is why it sold so well..Like I said, I like Sean, I just don't like champions fighting down the rankings when better fighters are available..That is what happened..
