It's implied that the Redcap attempted to turn himself into Bhaal, but the Kuo-Toa in their immeasurable brain damage called him BOOOAAL instead and he just rolled with it.
Out with a Bang it is! Funny Fact: after sacrificing him he started showing off his necrotic aura and appeared with the revival quest. I finished it, but due to sacrificing him to BOOOAL you couldnt ressurect him with the scroll so he doomed me in the end after all :D
The buff he gives you is kinda nuts though for tiger barbs. Gives your whole team like 99% chance to hit through the whole game if you keep targets bleeding

Tiger heart barbarian can bleed up to three grouped ennemies each turn The slicing shortsword inflicts bleed when attacking with advantage, which is an infinite refresh of bleed one you have the boooal buff the flawed helldusk gloves inflict bleeding on unarmed hits (which, reeeal good with a monk) Omeluum sells bleed grenades (spiked bulb) And that's nnot getting into act 3 stuff, in particular a certain form of a certain origin character Given how good the boooal buff is, that's far enough to have a party-wide build more or less oriented on that.
@@shamapenwy7357 The quality of a buffs is rated not when you make all of the possible good conditions for it to work properly, but when the buff actualy buffs YOU, and not you buffing the BUFF itself. E.g.: Volo's eye. It works perfectly good for any char you have. Another example-Auntie Ethel's hair, that gives you +1 of a chosen stat-extremely useful. The same thing with survival instinct and Awakened. You don't have to change your build to make it useful, these buff make your build more powerful. And another side-the buff tre benediction gives you. If you have a barb as a tank, that is always frontlane, then wolf barb would PASSIVELY give the same thing-advantage against the enemies nearby. Gloves or any other things have better alternatives for most classes(your monk example proves it once more-you have to build differently to make a good use of this buff).

Wolf heart has the weakness of all auras and AoE : the ennemy rarely stays grouped neatly on your tank. With this, once an ennemy is bled, it's free advnatage for two turns no matter if they or the barb moves. As for better alternatives for monk gloves, which in chapter 2? Flawed helldusk, even without the advantage on bleed are one of the best monk ones, and with t are imo better than the otherwise better ones, the gloves of crushing.

Probably more than enough :D I had something similar happening to me when I first met Yurgir in Shars temple ... I suceeded my perception check and tried to sneak up upon the ambushers - which resulted in combat without dialogue! But the whole act around convincing him to kill himself and his minions or strike a pact with him was lost to me this way
Thats quite a hidden one indeed :D She seemed like a regular npc to me too. But I wondered why she had the Underwear etc. with her when I killed her the first the time so I kinda got suspicious there :D @gina-hp2jo
Such a "leader" has really not earned any companion! In another video here, Tav was rejected as lover by all companions in a very harsh way at the circus. I guess that was immediately after this stink.

I feel you :D prefer the good walkthrough every time ... especially if its about losing companions - it always means losing content too. Its a pretty hard trade to leave Wyll and Karlach but get Minthara in return :D But Minthara is a very interesting character too! The Minthara in Act one which is controlled by the absolute is a very different character than the companion you get. But shes a classic Drow I guess - a Baenre no less :D@@What_do_I_Think

As far as I remember it doesnt matter how karlach dies, but if you recruited wyll beforehand it would mean that you "spared" her before and so angered mizora. For the Mizora event to occur you have to take a long rest, so maybe you could workaround that by recruiting her in the first place but sacrificing her afterwards. Easy way would be to recruit wyll later - then it should be fine anyway
I recorded this over several playthroughs I think. But as long as you dont take a long rest after recruiting Karlach, Myzora wont appear to punish Wyll - so if you go anywhere else before that Wyll stays without his horns :D

Its a hidden Cove right in Act 1 Underdark! In the southern area, right between the entrance to Auntie Ethel and the Selunite Outpost you can jump over to the entrance of the hidden cove

Wyll und Karlach wont stand it and leave/attack the party so you could kill off karlach for wylls quest/robe and sacrifice wyll to the fishs for maximum rewards :D
If you dont give him the artefacts he will leave the group if I remember correctly. If he dies permanently, and you dont ressurect him he will definetly blow and its game over :D and there are some mid and lategame story options to let him blow up too! Storywise he would definetly blow up :D
If you dont like Karlach or plan to have her in the group I think its even better to just kill her for Wylls Quest and get the Robe as Reward and afterwards sacrifice Wyll to Boooal :D especially if you plan to destroy the druid grove where they would leavy you anyway
As gary says, act 1, when you go to the mages tower or the area just before it with the exploding plants, go immediately left as far as you can go and in that exploding plant area is a small opening in the ground spread around it are a bunch of platforms you can jump too. on the last one that lets you down, kill it with a ranged attack and then go down wherever the prompt allows and you'll arrive in the area. Very small area, not much loot or anything, just these guys.
Yeah nothing too special, if I remember correct you can find two magical items: At the ledge where you can climb down into that area you can find a leather helmet on a skeleton that grants advantage on wisdom saving throws and there is a chest kinda hidden at the back of the cove with a mail chest that prevents opportunity attacks on a creature if you heal it@@adventofknowledge

There's a thing I discovered not so long ago that you may find useful in your bg3 travels. It is not really relevant to this topic. But I suggest you to try casting an Illithid talent called 'Dangerous Play' or smth like that (that allows you to heal on each hit of your character) on your enemies and see what happens. Been having a lot of fun with it on tactician. p.p.s Have a great day!

Depends heavily on the class and playstyle - if you wont use any bleeding effects at all its useless to you. I think its most useful for Barbarians!
