Nice hunt. There is a covered bridge near my sis in NC. Going to get there one day.

Must say I don't think I've tried 50 tones :)
I run it all the time. If it's an iffy signal I'll hit the all metals button and see if it's iron. These Equinox's are pretty good a telling you there isn't something right with what is under the ground. Shapes, sizes and metal descriptions. Thanks for watching!

Maybe but I don't think so. The insides were threaded like a screw.
