I cant even move against a regular gold jp
Now that's a skill issue lol
@@kingofdragons7 ok goofy 🤓
I try to jump on them before they get situated. I don’t see many people playing him but I’ve run into some super scrubby ones that start the antics right away.
@@supacoldwater8136 skill issue
PIERCE
A JP that actually approaches people. Thats crazy
That's how you actually play him
🙋🏽♂️
Low tier god still hiding in the corner complaining about people who approach him
He can’t beat the shit out of you if he doesn’t get close.
@@Sanbi35 this is funny because JP's japanese voice actor also does the voice for Jotaro
7:18 that was an unblockable reset btw.
I'm still not 100% sure what's happening there. Can you explain where/why the reset happens?
@@DaTekkenGod During his level 2 sequence, when he does the jLK into down+MK, the combo resets, you can block it because the overhead orb and down+MK hits your opponent roughly 1 frame a part, which you can't react due to the block stun. Best counter
practice would be to hold parry or mash any invulnerable specials.
@@FlyNationTV I actually didn't know this one. Thanks for the details, I'll lab this one today.

I love that Jamie's face gets progressively redder the more he drinks.
Playing agressively close as a zoner is wild af.
7:40 Dr discovers a new ahole transplant technique.
7:42....it was over with from there for that JP. RIP
That shit was horrifying 😂 4 seconds into the round
That character looks so fun to play with
This gotta be the most annoying character in the game
This character is cheap garbage. Spend half my time trapped in a corner. All jp mains get a block.
7:40 till end of the round…my jaw literally dropped. I think I watched that sequence like 5 times in a row. One of the best bits of gameplay in any SF game I’ve ever seen.
HOLLLLY CRAP
Damn… he was just beating on that man like he stole something
@@SDSOverfiend nahhh most likely killed his dog
How do you even deal with a character like that using Ken?
@@ajaegamesshorts this is actually a good match up for Ken.
It's kind of depressing thinking about hitting masters and thinking you're super good, than you go against someone like this and just get stomped on like your new to the game.
This JP would throw LTG into a damned seizure as he gets a taste of a real JP player.
JP "here's to a fair fight" lmao
BananaKen woke up and said "I identify as The Final Boss."
If anyone beats me the way he did dude in that mirror match 7:36
Im fighting yo ass in person
Bring it to them streets cuz
BananaKen was a god at SF4 back in the day. Glad to see him at the top of the leaderboards.
Are you thinking of Mustard Ken?
@@Doctor_Ice No, his name was BananaKen. Both online and in tournaments too I believe.
@@gamerookie09 Yup, and he usually wore the yellow outfit.
JP Morgan showing that with sound business investments he can whip a$$ with style!
lol!
This is what LTG had in mind when he plays JP..
He still visualizes this but theough pure delusion
@2:11 he baited opponent into a throw, then wiff punished the miss, was noice
Damn that was clean
I wouldn’t rage quit, I’ll just watch it while I’m eating
I've only watch LowTierGod play JP, and he makes JP look like a low tier character. BananaKen on the other hand...
Nah it's because he's playing scrubs all day long, and SF6 is a bad game anyway 😂
@@enamuossuoskill issue
@@enamuossuoCare to elaborate?
@@bobby4tw I was just using LTG arguments after a loss
I’m sorry, LowTierGod it’s not good at fighting games I play against him on street fighter6 and I perfect him twice in the same match and he was complaining that I was matching and spamming every move while I did a 13 combo on him with JP
ngl this JP looks like a computer, these frame perfect inputs dont seem possible for a human.
All PC players are cheaters. This is known
that corner pressure starting at 8:00 was brutal.
You know they designed a great villain when you can't help but root for the other guy. Seeing him played at this level makes him look so evil.
Also makes me wonder how a Capcom fighting game with this kind of magic based combat would turn out. Or just any kind of combat that would not be restricted by the moveset of legacy characters.
Given its span and characters it doesn't feel like there's restrictions, there's characters using knives, claws, grenades, all the elements, soul, sticks, cyborgs, ppl who can teleport, is necalli a God as well?
Try Touhou 15.5, basically a zoner's playground
Bruh, that mirror match felt personal 😂 Like B.K saw another JP user and lost it.
Looooooooooooooooooooool
match starts Perfect KO, second match he takes it easy and just barely loses, final round another Perfect KO
It's normal I think with gamers. Even an MMO PVP etc you see a whole bunch of enemies but if someone is your class you go for them to show them dominance - or flipside get humiliated them playing the class better.
The best NA Jp player is named Lara I think, an Xbox player funny enough.
Who is this? We doin' Zato/Eddie from guilty gear now? The stage control was disgusting!
He's the zoner that expert Ken players USED TO BE in SF2
The screen coverage is insane. He really understands his tools and applies pressure perfectly. DO NOT JUMP if you see this person's name.
JPs walk when he drive rushes needs to be a meme
With due respect, this is more about JP than BananaKen's skills.
Top community: don't worry jp is mid tier
The mid tier they told you not to worry about:
lol
How do you kill he which has no life ?
Nice to see Jamie give him a challenge
10:50 disgusting setup......
using that to teleport and get close while the enemy is still blocking is very good at keeping pressure and surprise attack, NICE.
I love real villains and players of video games I feel like whoever plays this well should be the boss on everyone’s game lol
The fact that JP can zone a Dhalsim is proof that JP has final boss potential I've decided to settle on using him and sticking with JP to see how high rank I can go with him this time as he is important to the lore.
Oh, it is the blazblue top kokonoe player. So he is now playing a fairly animestyle fighting game character jp
Now this is a scary JP. I'm not even annoyed by him anymore the same way I was in the very very beginning but this is to go even further beyond.
unenjoyable charater to play against
Now observe
lol
Pierce. go. away
That was disrespectfully … personal? Emotional damage?!
that character model kinda looks like butt, but damn this guy is awesome.
No no no no now whats up now whats up no no no no away away away pierce pierce pierce pierce
i'd smash the controller and scream into the mic if i got beat like that first Dhalsim
As a JP main I can only learn from my masters
Same, still playing casual at the moment, but its pitting me against Platinum normally and the odd diamond. Seems to be a 50/50 win ratio. A lot of people lose the first couple of matches then just want to play me over and over to learn against JP. I only wish I was as aggressive as bananaken!
I’m 1 month into sf6. It’s the first fighting game I’m trying to take serious and really know the mechanics. Any tips? Btw I main Ken
We've got many Ken videos on the channel. Some of the best. You can check these out and im sure you're gonna learn something from It!
We need basic ken combos :) no pro gameplay bcos we are never like top players:)
@@darkeedarkThen play modern and work on your reactions. There are two aspects two sf6 play to master to get good. First is the mechanics, the actual inputs. Being able to press them accurately and with enough speed to execute combos. The second is game sense, understanding the flow and how to execute neutral.
The guy at the 8:00 min mark got toasted . Had to have made him mad for winning one round lol
Perfect example of living closest to the gaming server and having your fiber internet optimized to the max
SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG! We love casting spells
7:42 that is one bonkers way to punish a drive impact.
its actually quite common to punish DI with a DI
@@66ixty9ineI mean in the sense that for the punish was 4 bars of drive gauge (resulting in a burn out), 50% of their health bar and being stuck in a corner.
@@-Azure.EXE- oh my bad
Nu-13 vibes.
Omg those mixups and combos are disgusting
Lol... Chun Li players even at master level likes to spam lp on wake up.
look like Grandma. From jojo adventures
I definitely see why everyone hates JP.
He looks like a big banana
8:28 nice timing with the music
JP looks like he come from JJBA universe lmao
I had no idea Street fighter 6 turned into a Hero FPS. HYPE
isn't this character a bit too much?
He is the new Bison. So op villain is expected.
Can't wait for akuma broken fireballs like sf2!!
Only just picked up the game, but apparently JP really suffers if and when you can get in close to him. His specials are pretty slow and punishable and his neutrals are either stubby or have range but can leave considerable room for punishment. If you close in on a JP main early and put the pressure on him, you've probably got a pretty good shot. He's got a special (don't know the name, but it's the forward-quarter turn punch one that summons horizontal spikes) that can launch the opponent right back near the corner depending on the type he throws out. Another thing is that he's incredibly slow - his only serious movement options are drive rush and drive parry dashes (which means spending gauge) and his follow up for his backward quarter-turn special that summons a rift, where he teleports to it. The latter move requires time to set up - it's slow, probably only to be thrown out when he's got space or after a knockdown.
In short, he's a superlatively tricky zoner-come-trapper whose victory depends almost solely on the space you let him build between you and him. Rushdown characters are likely to give him hell and the more time you spend right in his face, the more likely it is you're gonna get a win. Most of his options are slow, so get in close and try to land some of your combos. Attack on wake-up, be aggressive as you can, but avoid leaving yourself too open. If you can get him on the defensive in a corner, perhaps force him into a combo with a well-timed drive rush. He may well swat you away, start prodding you with his zoning and trapping tools. If this happens, it can be intimidating - your priority is now getting back close to him, which is exactly what he's designed to prevent. He can get at you from all sorts of angles, and he's got a projectile that can grab you. Even fellow zoners might struggle at this point - most zoners only have a couple of projectiles where all but one of JP's specials is some unique form of projectile. What's more, his spike move that comes up under your feet can be used to trade fireballs, especially troublesome when JP has a lead on HP.
The most important advice, I think, from my first impressions: get in close early and don't let up. Those first few seconds are vital in defining the shape of the match, and that goes double for JP. He may be scary, but I reckon if you get him, you can send him in a tailspin if you bully him up close hard enough. I intend to main this guy... He's like Bison without those pesky charge inputs, which is all I've ever wanted from an SF character for as long as I can remember. I know I do NOT have the skills - I'm a casual and proud of it. I wouldn't say he's OP necessarily - not anyone can just pick him up and win with him, I know I can't, and I haven't even gone online yet! In the right hands though... yeah, see the above video.
P.S. Looks like in this video, you might see what I'm talking about in the Jamie fight at the end. In that second match, they really use the character's rushdown capabilities to their advantage to get in close and apply pressure when JP starts blocking. Oh, and the forward throw, dash forward into another throw was inspired. Also noticed what he did when JP drive-dashed, how he jumped in with a cross-up and then threw when it was blocked. If you can see a dash coming, definitely a good idea to implement something like that. Oh, and when you get close - if in doubt, throw, absolutely throw. JP needs to have a plan, set stuff up, think a step ahead. A throw's a great way to disrupt a JP player's shenanigans, especially when you can capitalise on wake-up. Of course, if he matches you and gets a cancel out of it, you've just made some space for him, so maybe don't get too trigger-happy. All the same, grappling might be one of your top-tools when you need to pressure a JP into letting up.
@@BizzleMade he's really good at JP but sinenomine is right. People of similar skill level that can close the distance and maintain pressure will give JP a hard time. Just look at Sonicfox get slapped by Punkdagod when they play cammy vs jp. Even in the rematch he only won like 4 out of 12 matches and ends up switching to Chun.
@@BizzleMade I'll look him up - thanks for the tip!
This is totally opposite of SonicFox zoning JP. nice!
Dr Strangelove Or: How i learned to love the purple magical combos and zoning
Magic take adventage of physical class
He makes him look epic but if u notice in tourneys so far jp isn't making top 8. The pros know his spacing and take it away and all he has is the wakeup counter which gets baited easy. I love watching him get slapped
Who cares about tourneys? They affect none of us except the 16 people who always show up and win.
3:30 just finished whooping that ass now he's staring at it.
JP: Now for the real beat down.
this is what Joseph Joestar could have been if he kept using hamon
I don't know what to say. This is pure disrespect on every level. Props to the banana man.
I have no problems against JP with zangief, but this one would make me throw the whole ps5 away 😂
Chun Li only one who got a good lick’ in 😮
I'd love to fight this guy with my luke
You'll get bodied.
“Instead of endless plus frames, what if bison had unlimited space control?”
Anytime jamie gets owned i like the video just because my ex has the same name doesnt mean anything 😂😂
S/o to one of the goats bannanaken!!! Used to play with this guy back in the sf4 days!!
He gotta b on adderal
I bet Darksyde phil could beat him - lol (I'd pay to see you play 20 games and perfect dsp 20 times in a row)
Where's Low Tier Douche? JP dominating! LTG are you real?
I love watching a great jp player
I remember being ww rank 2 el fuerte in ss4’s original release days and coming across bananaken quite a bit. Crazy to see how nasty he still is
Its so annoying that people are still pretending that JP is not OVER POWERED!!!!!
"hE kNowS hOw tO UsE hIS rAngE" like bro...get tf outta here...he doesn't even require skill to use so when someone with skill actually uses him its not even close to fair
I wonder if BananaKen ever goes outside?
Now, Observe
Jp and rashid are annoying AF
yoga fire
master jamie dosnt even know how to block lev el 2 super
Are you saying that Jamie is bad? Looks pretty good at his character to me.
@@JinniYT Maybe he knows his character but he clearly doesnt know two of JPs Level 2 super hits are overhead
that jamie at the end played really well
He’s mesmerizing to watch.
He is him...
Why JP got the animan studios meme walk as a drive rush
psh this guy has nothing against me and my main, an atom bomb.
Very good. Very good indeed
lol
I can see the appeal of this character. Style points alone. Pimp cane, dresses like a dapper don, fights with one hand behind his back, man unlocked thanos snap, perfect beard…. Constant Flex pressure. 10/10 must master character.
Doesnt drink beer, but when he does its Dos Equis
Need JPs workout routine
Waay to many options on Jp literally good at everything definitely overpowered
Mf battle of the sugar daddies 💀🤠
Lol that mirror jp he low key obliterated
Found a weakness in this jpn player. He flaws on the opposite side
The shear mental game alone would crush most mid-rank players, just the fear of what Banana "could" do to them xD
Why does he looks and smiles like amitabh bacchan from bollywood?
i seen him just like this in a movie with leonardo decaprio. Gatsby movie
