I have been following your channel for quite some time now and I feel like I need to let you know that I really like your channel. Your reviews are always concise, keeping all your videos under 10mins which I really appreciate! All other sneaker review channels just stretch it out to 10-15mins videos, spending most of the time hyping up every single shoe...and with very little time actually talking about their honest view on them. Your reviews feel genuine and you pick a huge variety of shoes (like a true sneaker head would!) Keep doing what you do!
It's so beautiful !!! The texture of the leather, the stitching, it's perfect. Thanks for the beautiful images as always. I look forward to your drop every time.
Thank you. At this point in my life, as an adult and sneaker enthusiast, I’ve come to realize that this shoe has created imaginary lines between those who cannot afford it, those who have money to buy it and those who have money AND have access. Just because you have money doesn’t guarantee access.
My boy had custom AF1s and now has the actual pair in hand. Proud of you. I love these as well, I might like the low tops a bit more but it’s a tough choice.
i have to comment on how cool and collected u r Sean in ur review of these and in general, iv seen vids of ppl hyping these up soooo much. yes theyre incredibly beautiful , i do appreciate the materials used and so forth, but the resale of these....10 - 15 k will never be worth it.
Great video and review as always Sean. To answer your question towards the end, I would keep them for a little while and then resell to obtain shoes that I don’t own or double up on one of my favorites. Either way resell is what it leans more to.
I would keep them for a at least a year unworn and then look to sell them on. These are gonna continue to increase in value. Well done for getting a pair 👏 great review dude
@@Dorments the more pairs that are worn the less that are around that are deadstock, this makes them even more rare and more exclusive which usually means an increase in value, and the jordan 1 is a timeless classic style so unlikely to go out of fashion anytime soon. You can't loose anyway mate if you sell them now you will still make a huge profit 👍
Stewart Hughes hey Stewart yes i know that information, i’m just worried there won’t be many people actually cashing out you know 13-20k time being for a pair of shoes. Profit is profit but i don’t want to kick myself 6 months down the line and they went up 5k for instance.
I'd collect it put it in a clear box as a display piece. Or just sell it. I don't know with the exception to the grammys any other venue I would wear this shoe.
@@yst42 What's the connection between the two? What makes this a great collab? Unless you rock so much Dior in your lifetime you might actually give two shits about these shoes lol.
My thought is if you pay a very high price for a pair of shoes, you must wear it every day: 1. to show off 2. wear more times can let you feel your cost worth it 3. cuz you pay a very high price you can't expect this pair of shoes making a good profit (if you just wanna keep for a while and resell it). 4. wear it feel your heartbreak remember this feeling then tell yourself don't pay too much to buy a pair of shoes in next time.
The brand value deserves the resale hype since it’s not meant to be for average people ..! I definitely see these shooting higher (since it’s Jordan’s and Dior ) in years to come
I don’t think Nike ever should’ve let these retail for over a grand that’s just crazy. people love to clown on the ow Chicago resale but at the end of the day it retailed for 190 so in a way it’s earned. But I feel Dior took the easy way out and put a insane retail price on less than 9,000 pairs. just my thoughts tho
It's a nice standalone shoe in terms of upscaled quality and colorblocking, but I don't know anyone personally, wealthy or otherwise, who would be stupid enough to throw that kind of money away on some shoes. They're nice, but I'd be hard pressed to even pay retail, which is already stretching it.
Excellent review Sean. To answer your question, there is no way I would pay $2K much less more for this shoe. However, if I had a pair that was given to me (highly unlikely), then I would resell them. Saw a pair on eBay for $54K......crazy!
If you got those for retail, stick em in a safety deposit box at the bank and hold them. This is easily something that you can use towards a down payment on a house if you wanted!
Great review as always Sean! Like many here suggested, it’s an easy sell for me. I’d then use the money to get the shoes I actually want. This is coming from a person that have none of the sneakers in that photo of yours.
I try to look at it without the DIOR branding and I can't imagine seeing people to go crazy for this. Its funny most people will buy it and never wear it lol Well most people nowadays are just into hype stuff. Nice review and presentation as always. How I wish I can buy this for retail and resale to support my licensure review and exams😂
For sure, in my opinion Dior took the easy way and made these limited, I feel it would’ve been better for everyone if they released 85,000 rather than 8,500 just makes more sense. Also nike really dropped the ball, they never should have let these retail for over grand
Great video as always. Beautiful shoe, but it was an easy decision between selling it and paying off student debt. Also like to wear my shoes rather than having the shoes limit where I go.
That's a beautiful shoe. If I were you, I would keep them in the collection. No harm keeping them as I doubt they will drop much in price if you keep them for now.
They do look excellent, but I would never want to wear them out on the street. I would take a few awesome pictures, wearing them indoors, and then sell them! 😅
Great video and series! These snkrs are too beautiful, however I don't think it's any better than AJ1 Bred High, or SBB 3.0, or even Travis Scott High, my opinion. Hugs!!
Quality looks good, but recent Air Jordan 1s are close, not dead on but close. The retail price alone on these makes people think they are better. My wife owns dozens of purses, some made in Italy and they have way more leather than these and are a fraction of the price. So my point is the price is because of what they are, not for the materials used.
My man is holding a down payment on a house with his right hand alone
Venthos down payment for which city? For Silicon Valley, it’s only enough to pay for the annual property tax.
Peter Lee decent amount in PA. Could prob buy an actual property or two in a low market city like Detroit or Cleveland
Sean is from Toronto, down payment is $200,000 easy

Thanks for the love!!!
The BEST Jordan × Dior review I've found. Makes the retail price reasonably acceptable.
To me it doesn't matter how much it cost, I buy shoes to rock it, so luckily I've got the dior 1s and I've already rocked!🤙🏾
It's so beautiful !!!

Cheers!
I LOVE your shirt! And of course, awesome review with beautiful pictures!
Just realized the PU insoles are the same ones they use on the 85 model. Those are so comfortable once you break them in 👀
Imagine Pop Smoke advertising for them.
Dope review, thanks for keeping it real
I like your shirt!
Where is it from?
Definitely a nice shoe. I appreciate all the details, presentation on point. But yeah if I lucked out them I would sell them instantly lol

Easy sell. Rather profit from this nonsense collab and buy all the real Jordans that matter. Great review as usual. Keep it up!

I agree with you in the part of reselling these to get a good amount of other sneakers but man these still are fire

If they just added a full zoom midsole, it would add to the luxurious pricing.
