When you said about walking in the park that you used to walk in as a kid, now with your daughter, just really made me smile so much and reminded me about recently when my dad showed my brothers and I his old primary school which was just the craziest thing seeing where he went as a young kid and he was now there with his three kids! I’m so happy to see you so happy. As soon as I had my daughter, I got terrible post partum depression and it lasted for months until I got help for it, so I get so emotional when I see that this is how I was SUPPOSED to feel. Like it’s so crazy for me to watch this and see how happy you were, and I just wish I was like this too 😢 as soon as I got help though, my entire life changed and I’ve been completely inseparable with my daughter ever since (she’s 1 now), and I genuinely can’t imagine my life without her, but the first couple of months were the hardest months of my life. All I could do was lay in bed and cry, I couldn’t even eat or anything 😢 x
The waiting for your parents to have a cup of tea on Christmas morning before you can open presents is definitely an English thing! Every year my parents do it, I’m nearly 20 and it’s still the same every year!! I have been watching you for about 2 years now and I have loved seeing your journey and seeing you blossom🥰

Shocked at the midwife saying "only for a month or two" wow! I breastfed for a year and loved it, I would have been so shocked and really quite upset if that midwife had said that to me! Just a thought, something that helped me, if you've got one of those body pillows, take that with you in the car to support your arm when you're breastfeeding, it will stop your aching arms. Aw yous are doing so amazing! I feel like she's made you SO calm, it's like you were born for this 🥰 Labour with my daughter happened so fast that we didn't really get a chance to get many pictures. Take pictures of everything. I have a little boy. He is now 1 and a half. When I was pregnant I intended on breast feeding but unfortunately I wasn't getting any milk supply and he wouldn't latch due to tounge tie. I felt a bit low and I had a judgmental "friend" make a comment telling me to be patient. A baby is happy whatever way they are fed. Your so right, we all need to be kinder and whatever works for any mother and baby, works for them. Every mother knows what is best for their child. ❤️

People need to just tone it right down with the negative comments as it’s extremely unhelpful to you and it’s plain to see that you and Spencer are giving Renalia the best care any parents could give. There’s no handbook to tell you what the right way to do things is because there is no right or wrong way, only “ YOUR WAY” which is how it should be and I think your handling things brilliantly. Everyone makes a few mistakes along the way but it’s how we learn and grow from them. Breast feeding isn’t for everyone and certainly doesn’t necessarily come naturally to every woman. I think we spend far too much time beating ourselves up if we fail at the first hurdle and think we’re no good at these things when sometimes it’s just a case of practice makes perfect. You know your own baby and what’s best for her, not what others think or say when they only get 30/60minute a week glimpse into your life. I’m so pleased your all doing well and you look absolutely amazing after having a baby only 6/7wks ago. Lots of love to you and your beautiful family🥰

Ive been saying this before you got pregnant, but there are ppl in the world that are meant to be parents. I always said you and Spencer were meant to be parents. Thats why yous 2 were put on this earth. I wish all babies that come into this world had parents like yous 2 that would love them unconditionally no matter what. Im so happy for you both. People need to just tone it right down with the negative comments as it’s extremely unhelpful to you and it’s plain to see that you and Spencer are giving Renalia the best care any parents could give. There’s no handbook to tell you what the right way to do things is because there is no right or wrong way, only “ YOUR WAY” which is how it should be and I think your handling things brilliantly. Everyone makes a few mistakes along the way but it’s how we learn and grow from them. Breast feeding isn’t for everyone and certainly doesn’t necessarily come naturally to every woman. I think we spend far too much time beating ourselves up if we fail at the first hurdle and think we’re no good at these things when sometimes it’s just a case of practice makes perfect. You know your own baby and what’s best for her, not what others think or say when they only get 30/60minute a week glimpse into your life. I’m so pleased your all doing well and you look absolutely amazing after having a baby only 6/7wks ago. Lots of love to you and your beautiful family🥰
