I love mudcrab! I normally boil it in a little bit of salt water for 25 mins, take out the meat, add a touch of mayonnaise, then eat it when everybody else is sleeping. Hoop jy vang daai grote in Witsand.
Love the Witsand Episode! Have been fishing several times there and its always great, although it can be tough from time to time. Hope you are doing many more episodes on Witsand/Breede. Would be interesting how you chose your spots for Grunter and Kob (hint for next vids 🙂) . I find that the most difficult especially in combination with the wind and tides.
Great content, if you running low on ideas, it would be really cool to see you catch cuttlefish in knysna/witsand and use that as bait (great for the cobbies)
I guarantee you that will be the tastiest crab you ever had. We normally net our bait at night and drift with our live baits closer to the shore. Be safe and God bless 🙏
We used anchovy oil mixed with beach sand, water, crushed mossel shells which reflects like fish scales, in Mozambique, for a chum line, it worked very well
That big Kob is going to be caught very soon.👍🎣
Yes please

Grew up in that place. I love Witsand
Vismeel is also known as bone meel, my understanding is that it is dried fish and fish parts that is ground up
That stuff works like a charm
@@Bloudam have a fishing buddy who absolutely swears on the anchovy oil. He's always catching the first fish
