Herbert, Robinson, Davis, Borom and Jones Jr. can all be traded for swapped picks. Trim the fat, build draft capital. Just dump them and move on. Regardless of what we get, we can always flip them or use as a kicker in trade deals. We aren't going to start any of them and the chances are really low that we might need them except for maybe Herbert.
I have no issues with Da Bears trading any of these guys, but if they're not BUYING anyone at the deadline, that's a problem. They clearly aren't going after any big names like Crosby or Walker, because if they were they would've traded before the bye week, so that those new acquisitions could be rested and not risk an injury.
I think we need to swing on a trade for someone to help give the Bears an edge when taking on the North teams. Right now, being 4-2, the fan perception is optimistic as if we don’t need help.
