Keeping in mind that asians have been doing things like this for centuries, I love how she is blending in some of the "newer" technologies that would actually in many cases have had wooden counterparts that served the same function. I have watched several of her videos of the past few weeks and am always impressed. I was caught off guard by the lack of grasses or straw in the bricks, but I assuming that in her area that the clay would be sufficient assuming there is no great amount of rainfall such as the monsoons in Asia.
I also have to laugh at some of the nay-sayers who want to offer comments such as "Oh, well, she should have done it ..." this way or that way... Recognize that she is working with a minimum of tools that she brought in. Not sure what part of the country she is in since it does say she is doing this in the United States, but it is still very impressive. Ms Seng Ly, thank you for sharing your videos and please continue to do so. I am an old man of almost 70 and cannot perform these tasks any more myself, but I did a lot of this type of stuff in my youth before we had the ability to document it the way you are. I love to see our younger generations learning these skills and practicing them.
