Pro Tip: Always try and kill Maya first. Ironically enough she’s the hardest to find. Also, she will shorten your time the more time is spent not going to kill her.
What i always find funny is how with every gameplay video that i have watched of this game, the gamer instincts always kick in. The player starts to kill everybody without a second thought. When my friend, the coder, first sent me the first prototype, the game made an impression on me. Vera being dead (it was the first sprite that i did methinks) combined with the loud gunshot was enough for me to feel shocked and to freeze for a few good seconds (enough for the students to get out). I was hoping that at least for the first playthrough, people would have the same reaction. Fun fact: originally, i had a plan to make the dead sprites a bit more grotesque. The only test that i did was a Vera sprite, where half of her head is missing. The idea was for the kills to leave a greater impression on the player (or at least the potential first few) and to make it just a bit more horror like. The coder said that it would have been too much (which i do agree), so i went with the more simple bullet holes. Lesser fun fact: I also suggested to the coder other ideas, like alternate endings depending on who do you kill (if you kill anybody at all). The coder also had other ideas for the game (some details like: if you dont kill Coco for a certain amount of time, she would have knocked you out; you could have spared Maya and she would have joined your killing spree), but ultimately these ideas would have made this project far more complicated then what it was intended to be - a simple dark joke game. The ideas that i have mentioned are a bit muddy to me, so i need to check the mails again, if i wish to be sure what ideas we discussed.
