That's an American M3 carbine, made during the war, with an active infrared scope. Yes night vision technology existed, it just was pretty bad at first. The massive thing on the top actually projects infrared light. Which would look like a flashlight to someone else with night vision.
@@simpsondr12 the lamp also only had a range of about 50 meters, which is why it’s mounted to an M1 carbide rather than a regular sniper rifle. The German one wasn’t much better, and was mounted to an STG-44 for the same reason. Both scopes also required the user to wear a very bulky backpack power supply.
I wonder how many of these had any consultation on historical training manuals. Some are reloaded exactly as WWII doctrine would suggest, but soem are reloaded in either nonsensical or anachronistic fashions that are ergonomically less practical and/or historically too modern for the time depicted in the game, or worse, perhaps even impossible on the weapons shown with the motions displayed.
Maybe the recording program is in a wired option to make it sound like it's in a boxy room, because I've heard these reload sounds being much crisper and not as plastic or echoy soundboothy
Ah yes, BFV DEI edition, where millions upon millions of young men died and they have a little 100lb lady as representation lol Next up, womens rights movement, starring mr john smith as representation of all the women

06:45 I love the guy in the background just going "WHAT THE-".
Fitting.
Totally normal reaction to seeing someone using dark magic arts on their gun
Also at 0:48-ish
6:20 6:45 the gun with the most secret reloads of all the battlefield series
Ah yes, the garand thumb reload.
The one that we all love
I like how with the telekinesis m1 reloads there's a ringing that sounds like m1 ping in reverse
Something *sounds* uncanny about these reloads, like the user isn't outdoors but in a building with bad acoustics.
foley are likely recorded indoors so that could be why
I love the telekinesis reloading easter eggs
6:45

BFV had the best animations through out of all games until CODMW2019 released. It looks very good even now.
6:20 garand thumb
The finger pistol is ALMOST as painful to watch as the Healing animations from the Far Cry (the good ones) series
This was THE war game back then 😢
For what? 1-2 years? It was a game you thoroughly enjoyed, that's it
7:24 here you see night version scope night version did exist in ww2 as supposed as a wonder weapon made by Germany

For me it will always gonna be OSA m1s snooper rifle

Legit question because this game looks really awesome. Does it still have a mostly thriving playerbase? I'd love to try to get into it.
The video; 😐 reload
The ASMR: 😌 reload 100/10
Lol, bfv have the best animations after codmw, stfu
German/Japanese soldiers when the Allies start using Force powers to reload their Garands mid-firefight: 😦😦😦😦
Grandpa, you must have reloaded a lot of guns, in your times...
Its kinda odd seeing a lewis gun without the air cooling jacket.
Why do the weapons sound like their being reloaded inside an empty room?
I didnt know they had infrared in ww2 7:28
It has a range of 100m/200m
They did, it was terrible and expensive. Kind of like SUPREME clothes.
@@fish_and-chips it was pretty scary if you were sitting watch in a foxhole at night, though.
Believe it or not, but there was infrared guns. The Zielgerät 1229 was supposedly one of em
everything sounds like it's being reloaded in a room
why is there an echo on an open field?
Reloads are outside but sound like they take place inside
I will never get over the K31 using modern, plastic clips to reload
You should do shadow of Mordor all takedowns
idk why, but the sound design is just not- working for me it sounds plasticish- idk-
Yeah last time i played BFV was a while ago but it feels different, i'm thinking it's a mod or maybe just added in post

Sounds like interior reloads. Either that's a bug or he's in an awkward position that's confusing the game.

Something was not right with the K31-43's reload, the singe round reload saw the ejection of 3 casings and 1 replaced
The stationary reload is the one thing that looks disappointing. Unlike in BF1, it was great
Why is there echo like it’s all happening in a room?
If only this game didn't fall for the siren song of DEI
No one cares about DEI in multiplayer
12:53 Idk why but the 12g automatic somehow feels unnatural compared like someone did a poor video edit
6:37 Where is this Easter Egg?
Kinda realistic but cool reload animation
who tf makes an intro that is almost a full minute long for a video like this
Why does the audio sound like it’s been recorded in some guys room?
The actual in-game sounds are not that crispy, i wonder if its possible to make them sound like that
👍
Nice Grand Thumb 😅
That Turner SMLE Extended reload makes me want to vomit
