I lost my dad 3 months before covid to cancer, had his funeral, dealt with the aftermath of manipulative money hungry siblings, lost those relationships, then we moved to california as the pandemic was closing everything down with our 5 & 2 year old children. then we were trying to learn how to cope at home with no friend/family support, a new job for my husband and a remote position with his desk in our bedroom. plus having a physical pain issue that made me not be able to walk without pain. then, we moved out of california to washington after one year to escape the suppression we felt there. All with two little ones and in deep grief. I have cried more tears than I thought were in me and I often wonder when it will end and when I will stop crying. Through the process we met some beautiful people but the pain is sometimes too much to bear. I have given up in the best way possible. It was too much so I had to surrender it all to The Lord. I still cry, I am still in physical pain but I know He is guiding me through and out of this storm. Many prayers to those struggling as well, you are not alone.
Lost the 2 closest woman in my life within a few yrs my mom my 42 yr sister . The family I grew up with is no longer and the rest are separated. Been trying to be ok alone 🤨

@Jacquelynn Jones God knows your heart and circumstances. The power of GOD will strengthen you :) The hardships will pass because we know Genesis 8:22 says, While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night, shall not cease. There are seasons of seedtime, waiting and harvest… seasons of testing and breakthrough.
That is really difficult circumstances! Has the pain lessened any 1 year later?

I hope that you have found peace, since posting your post.
I have gone through many situations in pain, not understanding why. My relationship with God has only grown stronger, once I learned that a lot of my physical pain came from my stressful situations. The Holy Spirit conveyed to me, I needed to learn how, to truly put my trust in God. I learned in that time, that just because we say we trust God, doesn't mean we completely trust God. When we completely trust God, we learn not to let fear or doubt take a root in our minds. We give our needs to God, and we wait on Him for His completion's in His work. That's when we learn how He works in us. Sometimes these situations, are to bring us to better things.
And sometimes it's to teach us, to let go of things we were not meant to control in the first place. When we try to control the outcomes of what we want, we will push God aside to do it ourselves. This is not what God wants for us, but if we push back hard enough, He will let us prove to ourselves, how little control we actually possess.
These are all things He showed me, as I was going through my physical pain.
Now sometimes my pain was caused by surgery or injuries due to falls. In these times God showed me how to trust in Him for His strength to heal my wounds and also pace my actions to get a head of Him.
Over all and through it all, it was to help me learn about myself, and learn to always put God's Will, before my own desires. This helps us to make sure our desires, are going to be healthy in our lives, and not just a stepping stone to get a head.
I hope this helps to put some perspective in your trials, and adds wisdom to your walk.
A prayer for your strength, comfort & trust...
Lord Jesus,
I pray for your strength, healing and knowledge, to help Jaquelynn to grow closer to You and absorb the love & healing You have for her. Help her learn to lay her hardships, whatever and how many they may be, at Your feet, and let You work them out.
Please take away her pain, and surround her with Your family, to encourage & strengthen her trust in Your ways. Please bring Your peace, beyond all understanding, upon her when she is going through difficulty and give her the strength not to doubt You, when things don't move fast enough in Your answers. In Your precious Name of all authority, Lord Jesus, I ask this of You.
And all Glory, Honor & Praise belongs to You, our precious Lord & Savior. Amen. 🤲🤲🤲

I have the same prayer today. I've devoted 10 full weeks to helping my son recover from a relapse in his health which has caused an episode of depression. I've got no energy left.
I have been emotionally worn out since I lost my son June 10th, just a few weeks ago. My daughter and I have been traumatized from caring for our Zach and watching him waste away from a horrible cancer. I am going thru all the stages of grief, the inability to understand, and an anger at God that he didn’t heal my son here on earth. I have been searching for the right voice, a messenger of hope and healing and for someone to truly help me to understand Gods promises for us all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being that messenger. I pray for you and your family. Please pray for mine.

Year after year for me too. I pray and pray and love my Lord. Seems like I'm on a downward spiral and will never see the light at the end of the tunnel. Getting tired of working so hard and everything's still the same. HELP.

I’m not in a great place emotionally. My tolerance for people complaining about COVID is very low (I don’t mean those genuinely negatively affected). We made it through thank God, but during all of this my family fell apart. Right before COVID happened, my husband left my kids and me and our whole life was devastated into a million pieces. There are people going through more than just COVID but it seems like the rest of us are forgotten about. Again, I know I may sound impatient but that’s the state of my emotions right now. Please pray for the rest of us.

I want you to know that your sermons came into my life, when I asked God to show me how to get closer to Him. So much has happened, I used to be so angry at Him for all of it too. I started to get close and I feel I went down the wrong road again. So today, I sought learning Him and how to become closer. You're messages, all day that I've listened for about 6hrs, have been spot on. Your message of a purpose driven life over what I was hearing about "Getting rich through God" type stuff from Creflo and Pastor Jesse had worn on me spiritually, I felt I wasn't actually going anywhere with an actual relationship with God. I thank Him and you for having the perspective I think will allow me peace and service to Him, to bring others to Him. Bless you for your years of service to Him and those of us who need these messages.

I am so grateful for this right now. I am totally burnt out social worker and wife to a brain injured person. I mean that respectfully he really has a brain injury from multiple strokes. I am so freaking tired of trying to help people and listen to people and look after people and I just thank you Rick Warren for this. You are such an encouragement.

Thanks for this, was needing this message even before the covid 19 outbreak. Life been a non stop rollercoaster and I am emotionally tired and physically unwell for years.
My body and mind are running wild. I have severe anxiety that it causes my body to shake violently and I throw up multiple times each day. I'm tired, stressed, and emotionally exhausted. Please pray for me. I believe I'm under spiritual attacks.

I have been dealing with covid in Italy for what ages to me but I am used to this sad and emotional stage because my life here has been this way forever. I am used to pain and loneliness so I got used to it and don't think can be around others anymore. I am good at finding new things to do and speak to Jesus all day long while doing things like cooking and cleaning. HE knows everything about ME. Feels harder NOT to receive an answer making me lonelier. Angela Italy

Pastor Rick, you are saving my life.i can't explain it but you're saving me and I believe you might save me from a cancer diagnosis. I've been in a very tonic marriage for 15 years. I lost both my parents by the time I was 18. Being diagnosed with cancer and knowing my kids will likely move to their Fathers. My husband has been their step fathers since they were 3.5 and 5. Now my son is 19, daughter is 17. I believe in miracles. I just don't know how to achieve one in my life. If you have any direction on that I world be honored to hear from you! How can I trust And have faith in God when everything in my life is beyond horrible. I pray and pray and pray. I have Given all my anger, frustrations, problems to him to do his work with and everything is just getting worse. I am so close to giving up. I just can't bear it any more. I read the bible. I do bible study. I pray. I just can't see how god is working in my problems especially when my heart is breaking.😭😭😭

The words are nice, but it really feels different when you dont see it! You hear that God has a better plan and to trust in his timing but it doesnt get better! When you have done nothing but trust, and believe and read, and pray and in the end nothing gets better. You want to believe when people say these encouraging messages but they are sort of empty at this point because you have heard it all and nothing changes!
