i am really happy with this explaining video, but i have a question about number 6 X is increased by twice but you told it is second order otherwise aspect of Z , it is increased also by twice from experiment 1 to 3 but it is written as first order, why they increased by twice but how they become different order? sorry for my poor English.
When we double X and don't change Z the rate is doubled, so X is second order. Going from expt 1 to 3... halving X would multiply the rate by 1/2^2 i.e. it would be 4 times smaller...and then we double Z. So the rate only decreases by 1/2. So Z must be 1st order Or, to show the maths 0.5 = (1/2)^2 X 2^z Z must be 1
thank you!!
Very welcome 😀
