If you’re still in morocco and heading back to Casablanca, you must vist a neighborhood named houbous. I love that place, beautiful architecture and if u go there, make sure you visit the oldest patisserie in Casablanca « patisserie Benniss », they sell authentic traditional moroccan pastries.
Really enjoyed watching this vlog. I shall visit that restaurant sometimes, loved the vibe. That thing on top of the couscous isn’t dates it’s called Tfaya and it’s caramelized onions with raisins. The milk looking drink is Laban it’s fermented milk and it’s like kefir.
Hello, welcome to my hometown. I was happy to see an American exploring my country and my hometown in particular. I hope you are having a wonderful time there. I’m moroccan but I leave in the state Florida to be specific. Best regards enjoy.
Hello, the small cities in Morocco are more beautiful than the big cities. You can visit Tangier, Asilah, Caponecro, Nador, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Essaouira, Agadir, Ifrane, Laayoune, Dakhla. You still have not seen Morocco for what it is. There are several very beautiful cities.
Hey! Awesome video! I’m from Rabat, born and raised there and this is a very realistic view of the city! You’re quit the traveler to be able to navigate so well around! Hat’s up!

What them thangs you were talking about? Anyway, nice video. I like the black American accent. Sounds better in a Moroccan context. It just sounds better. The kids thought you were a local. Didn't try to use their English. Moroccan kids generally don't ask for money as in other countries. You may, instead, meet kids trying to sell you stuff for twice the price. But that's only in the touristy areas. Rabat isn't one of them.
The blue alleyways you referred to were actually inside Kasbah of the Udayas. You could've taken a right turn from the street at 15:00 to explore the area. There's also a moorish style café with a view on the river and an Andalusian garden which I think is still closed for renovation.
