- Season 3 of Miraculous despite having a controversial finale, and has consistently received criticism of dragging on character development has a surprising amount of good original villains. I know we say this every time, but I honestly keep expecting the quality of the akumatizations to drop and for the most part they haven't! Guess it's good we're doing this series and bringing to light some awesome villains in this show.

Silencer is actually top tier, I just realised recently that if he can activate their powers, he can DE-activate their miraculous. He could’ve made them transform back at will during that episode
Deadass all he would need to do is say their power-down phrase (which is super easy in some dubs where they all have the same phrase)

True, but that would require him to know their power down phrase, and you can't know that unless you have the book with the miraculous in it that shows their powers. Or unless you just so happened to find out the phrase

@@katrinaleahu9369 Same reason for still akumatizing Mr.Pigeon, he's insane. There was a study done that proved people who do the same thing ,multiple times expecting different results are insane, so Gabriel is insane.
@@katrinaleahu9369 Probably because people would try to rein in their emotions to prevent from becoming akumas. After all, everyone in Paris is very aware of the threat that Hawkmoth poses, and it seems like most of the akumas are children or people who have been treated like absolute trash and can’t stop themselves from reacting harshly.
So Gabe, in the short time that he can become transformed into Hawkmoth without alerting others in his house or in his company and also without wasting all of his time, needs to find someone with strong emotions and come up with a power on the fly. It really isn’t as simple as you would think, unless he spends an hour or more just waiting in the hopes that someone perfect will come along.
@@cristyflaherty4902 as seen in timetagger, he was really annoyed that he re akumatized the same person 24 times ( or 23 i don't remember) and never won.but mr pigeon 72 shows the reason to why, as marinette said when showing alya a graphic of all the re akumatized victims, hawkmoth does that because he knows how to manipulate them easier.what was really dumb was not giving mr pigeon any new abilities until the 72nd time he was akumatized

To be fair, to akumatize Oblivio again, it would require both Nino and Alya to be upset and holding an object together.
If I was Gab I would create a Senti Nino give the Peacock Miraculous too Nathalie who create a Senti Alya and now I just need a to akumatize both and tada : Oblivio is back !
There can be multiple sentimonsters active at the same time without having to switch holders so you wouldn’t even have to use Natalie

Here are some villain ideas I have:
Flingshot: An angry birds themed Akuma who can fire the birds from his ipad.
Yack Attack: A villain who can bore people to sleep with his voice
Quitter: A villain who can make people quit whatever they are doing.
Joe-man: A barista villain who can weaponize coffee in three ways: Super caffeinated coffee that turns people into caffeinated zombies, burning coffee that melts stuff like acid, and iced coffee which freezes upon impact.
Senseless: A villain who can remove people’s senses
Cringe meister: A villain who can create shockwaves and energy blasts from cringe energy.
Dhalang: A Javanese shadow puppeteer villain with a towering shadow puppet sentimonster. She can control objects and people by touching their shadows with her puppeteer’s rod.
Wallopeño and Lechedor: Two wrestlers, who are spicy pepper and milk themed respectively. They can fire energy punches that make people feel like they have either tasted something super spicy or have a milk induced stomach ache.
Mementotem: A sentimonster that can create replicas of past miraculous holders that have the same memories and skills of said holders, but these clones are loyal to the sentimonster, and by extension, Hawkmoth.

@@dataexpunged6831 In the 'Ladybug' episode, the actual Marinette got akumatized along with Sabine, but it got interrupted by Natalie, so we don't know how Princess Justice looks like, but even by that point she was already giving Marinette's miraculous to ScarletMoth

I actually think whenever Luka transform into a villan it's always super strong and powerful, Silencer and Truth are really powerful, in Silencer he could literally say "Spots off" and Boom it ended, in truth he hit both of them but come on,
couldn't he asked questions while he fought them? Chat hit them and then he couldn't complete his questions, come on Luka do the same thing! hit Chat and ask your question!
That's because I was pretty amazed that Luka was the one found out every thing in Wish maker, he was a dangerous choice cause whenever he get akumtized it's always hard to defeat
To be fair about Startrain, Hawk Moth didn't even create that one. The akuma got out of range and pretty much went on autopilot. This was about the only villain that wasn't after the miraculous in the slightest, only caring about the heroes because they tried to stop her.
also are we gonna forget that miraculous go out after a while? all he'd have to do is allow feast to live at least a few weeks after eating ladybug and chat, and they'd sooner or later die of hunger
@@almessasorrow4950 Do sentimonsters need to eat? They never outright said they do as far as I can recall. Yes, Feast eats, but he is the embodiment of hunger. I'm not sure what shut it down in the first place, maybe falling into the lava. For all we know it is like the creatures of Grimm from RWBY, they don't need to eat they chose to. Plus Feast can eat anything, not just miraculous, those are just it's favorite.

I didn't realize you were talking about Ladybug and Cat Noir starving to death. That is kind of out of no where as it doesn't have anything to do with my OP. I was talking about Startrain.
On the topic of pocket dimensions both Feast and Guilt Trip have them, but that was built around their powers. I assume most don't unless they need them.
Something I think should be sad about Chameleon is that she legitimately doesn’t seem to be defeatable except under very specific circumstances. She appears to need to turn into something with a pearl on it in order to be defeated. That oyster was very lucky.

Dude in some dubs they all have the same power down phrase so he'd only have to know their Kwami's name. (ex: In French, they all just say "Kwami, Transform" or "Kwami, Detransform")

Desperada should be top tier:
When Desperada first hits ladybug after giving Adrien the snake miraculous Gabe mentions the stickers will release the heroes. So yes, she can release any captured victims if she wants to.
She has great strategy and aim, her only weakness was she gets distracted by other musicians, it was literally shown right at the start where Luka distracts Desperada to help Ladybug and when the pigeons started to play with the guitar.
You literally need to use second chance just to beat her, that’s how good this villain really is if it weren’t for her weakness.
All she needs is high ground to precisely aim at her target, Chat Noir was actually NEEDED to take away her advantage point by destroying the Eiffel Tower.
Why is Oni chan lower than Gigantitan? She's pretty much an upgraded Riposte. It's not like Gigantitan could get a hold of the miraculou.

I think the reason why he can't bring oblivio back is because both Alya and Nino need to both feel angry at the same time while holding a shared item and not against eachother
Heck yeah Cat Blanc best villain of season 3 and most powerful. It actually sounds right for Ladybug to be traumatized by him of all villains. Not only he is her best partner but was also the hardest to beat. Like really his only weakness was Ladybug acting lovely around him but even that wasn't working right away because she was already trying to act caring but he was making a fool out of her caring behavior to try to steal her miraculous. I would say Cat blanc was defeated because for split second he looked into his inner Cat noir. Just enough for Ladybug to take his bell. It's gonna be funny in season 5 because Ladybug will have 2 types of trauma for 2 sides of Adrien. I mean Adrien's face will remind her of Felix so she might lose some trust in Adrien, while she remembers Cat blanc while thinking about getting on bad side of Cat noir.
What makes this show super awesome is that almost all the villains are super cool looking and have cool concepts!

IMO, Cat Blanc is the strongest akumized villain up to this point (season 5). Featwise, he's the only villain that is universe level in powers.
I thknk wish Akers is the strongest villain up to this point because with one hit there secret identity is revealed giving hawk moth a massive advantage to get there miraculous

@@itzvoidyt939 Don't get me wrong, alot of akumized villains has some OP abilities. Wish maker powers are pretty interesting, he can make your dream become reality. Another strong villain would be emphereal from season 4. He can just de-age you just by turning you. Time trapper is also OP because his gun can send u to any time including to the big bang.
But in terms of powers, Cat Blanc is the strongest IMO. Not only does he has a miraculous, his miraculous is the 2nd strongest and has shown the best feat aka nearly destroying the entire future universe and even affected Burrow dimension that contained all the other futures.
@@kennedysamarakody4925 In my opinion, the cat miraculous is the most powerful. Yes, the ladybug miraculous is insanely powerful, but the difference is is that that miraculous still follows the natural laws of the universe, which is you can't making nothing into something and you can't make something into nothing. Before you go on and say "she can make nothing into something", she can't because she's using the power from the miraculous to make something which means she's turning something (the power/energy from the miraculous) into something else.
The cat miraculous on the other hand ignores the natural laws of the universe. He may not be able to make nothing into something, but he can make something into nothing. I know you're gonna say "but they turn into dust", but that doesn't happen every time. It's shown that sometimes it just disappears completely (there are some examples in Chat Blanc). I think it depends on the intensity of the cataclysm. It's obvious it can be used at different power levels (for example, making things malfunction, causing mass destruction, turning things into dust, and making them completely disappear).
In my opinion, if anything can ignore the laws of the universe, then I think that's one of, if not, the most powerful force. Now, maybe their universe laws work differently than ours and other story worlds, but I usually think that the universe laws are usually the same (can't turn nothing into something and vice versa) unless the creators say otherwise. Besides, thinking a miraculous can defy the universe laws makes it much more interesting in my opinion. It also said in the spell book that the only limits you have are the ones you give yourselves so technically you could be limitless if you choose to be. The heroes' powers could be infinite (as powerful as Chat Blanc, no need to power up every time you used your power) unless that limit thing was an exaggeration.

To add on, since the peacock and butterfly miraculouses can mimic the cat miraculous' power (as well as ladybug), those are also considered (in my opinion) some of the most powerful miraculouses as well. They could very well mimic the two miraculouses (cat and ladybug) combined as well. It makes me wonder why Gabriel never tried. The miraculouses are limitless after all. It'd make sense that he could very well do that. Unless, as I previously said, it was all an exaggeration.
@@shootingstars6762 You brought up a interesting point. I think I'd agree with you. However, I was talking about all the miraculous users who were akumized. Ladybug hasn't been akumized.
I also avoid thinking about their powers from a physics point of view since it's a kids show and all their powers are essentially magic (the kwamis are magical creatures). I think to add to your point, the Cat miraculous is suppose to be Ladybug miraculous complement. Tikki is the kwami of creation, plagg is her opposite aka the kwami of destruction. They basically cancel their powers out (this was proven in one episode when tikki was creating stuff because she had a sweet tooth, Cat noir destroyed her donut)
I think Party Crasher should be top tier. Dude is literally psychic and was about to win if it wasn’t for King Monkey. Yeah, the weakness is obvious, but it’s also situational. Plus, he managed to beat four heroes at the same time, so I think that deserves god tier

You've never seen an akumatized ladybug what kind of sense does that make. We've had hints that the Ladybug miraculous is technically being used wrong and presumably there's no reason why Marinette can't make whatever she wants or pull some Fiamma of the Right shit and instead of creating a tool she then has to figure out how to utilze correctly it simply gives her the right tool for the circumstance outright
Also Miraculous are indestructible so Stormy Weather 2 is Top Tier. Plus Party Crasher can actually sent over only the Miraculous because of what Hawkmoth said. These over power Villian need to be Top Tier
Same with desperada, she trapped the heroes but once Hawkmoth got rid of her power in a place were Ladybug can't escape, he would be able to get her miraculous.
But in stormy weather how shpuld you get the miraculous if the whole world snd you are frozen

@@vladimir3905 Similar in my comment. How...do you know that? There inherent ontological inertia with the Akumatized villians. Outside of Pixelator and Robustus who's powers don't one shot you but put you in a retrieval capture state how do you KNOW de-evilizing a person would reverse the effects. The only time you've seen effects being fixed in this nature is by the ladybugs.
The fact is you don't. And assuming that the writers care (they probably don't) then Gabe reacts in a way where doing this to a holder effectively hurts his plans. I covered this but if the villians cannot reverse their powers then the theoretical oneshots are just that. And because the miraculous aren't destroyed by converted into another form or sent to an unretriveable plane of reality (like where does all your shit goes when you're Reflekta-rized) the plan to retrieve them fails.
If Gabe can show that there's no ontological inertia with Akumatized villians powers (i.e. effects are reversed when the powers go away instead of being "repaired" by Miraculous ladybug) then every villians with a one shot are all S-tier. They hit. Collect whatever is left of you/capture you, and detain you then it only becomes a matter of time.
You can tell that the plot armor was ironclad during Miracle Queen when the mind controlled Viperion, with the power of going back in time to redo something, lost first.
Animaestro deserves some extra credit, the downside of needing someone to see him to move is definitely bad, but don't forget he's got millionaire smooth brain Gabe in his corner. Invest in mountains of drones and/or CCTV cameras tied to his monitor, and then Animaestro is virtually unstoppable. Of course, this involves overcoming the bigger downside of Gabe having a smart idea once but, y'know, details. "If we were the villain, we would've won" cliche.
Imagine how Over Powered it would be to have Cat Blanc and Miracular both fight ladybug. Also add some senti-monsters with the Miraculous. Ladybug is a goner

Silencer is actually a really good akuma since he could just say the detransformation words to find their real identity…he just used his powers stupidly which made him seem not so good
I agree with all of your placements for the villains minus Oni-Chan because even though her weakness is a problem, I still find her better than Bakerix, also about your video on the Season 2 villains last week, I think the Miraculouses will still be active in their charged mode even if the heroes are completely frozen by villains like Frightningale and Style Queen since Hawk Moth needs the Miraculous to be completely intact and not make the same mistake that he made with Reflekta when she blasted Cat Noir with her powers.
Fun fact we actually don't know what the limits to catalysts abilities are (to boost others powers is what we have(so in theory couldn't she just give hawk moth the power to multiply the powers granted to all traumatized people(including herself) multiplying her upgrade power infinitely and then give hawk moth the power to create infinite Akuma's, to allow every Akumatized person to use every other Akumatized villains powers, oh and for good measure the upgrade to wish for anything he desires (or Idk the power to resurrect the dead to send his Akumas across time or to just have the akumas be able to consume a miraculous fusing it with the butterfly permeantly and just by drowning the city in Akuma no matter what ladybug and chat do they can't win because if a single flower touches the jewelry they lose and hawk moth now has the destruction or creation power multiplied by catalyst and it's fused with the butterfly miraculous(he could also make it so he could Akumatize himself and multiply his power even more with said infinite Akuma
Chat Blanc had the potential to be the best episode ever.

A great way to beat ladybug is to use the low tier villains as distractions while using the high tier villains as the masterminds then lure ladybug into a trap and swarm her

These villains are not designed to take ladybug or cat noirs miraculous they actually designed for revenge and other stuff
I think is a little bit unfair to rank them solely because of their chances to get the miraculous. For example Hearthunter was only used as a bait to deceive Chloe and making her Miracle Queen. It wasn't about getting the miraculous in the first place.

3:19 As I recall, it WAS a mistake as the akuma went out of Hawk Moth's control range. As a result, Hawk Moth for once WANTED Ladybug and Cat Noir to win in order to save his son from the out of control villain.

I'm a simple guy, i see smarty pants upload a miraculous video, i click.
For all those villains whom powers revolve around trapping people in something like stickers or mirrors or turn them into stone; I believe Hawk Moth either also give said the ability to reverse their effect or can reverse it himself when he removes the villain's power. I think in those situations the plan is to have the villain transport the captured/transformed Ladybug and Cat Noir to him where he would first put the heroes in some special room where he can easily overpowered them once released and take the Miraculouses; bouses points if the duo is released in the same physical condition they were in upon capture, slightly tired and beat up at best or a couple minutes before transforming at worst.
I realize Sentimonsters aren't included, but SentiLadybug was also really good. And Felix is also a god tier villian, even though he's just some guy.

Refleckta has the potential to be higher. The episode shows the heroes will turn back if they use a new miraculous. If they get turned, tied up, then forced to use the peacock or butterfly, they’ll turn into the new form. The miraculous could then be snatched off them before they can use it.
To be fair with Heart Hunter, his intention wasn't to get Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous there. It was to back Ladybug in a corner so she would go to Fu. Allowing them to find him, his true intentions with that scheme was to steal the Miracle Box and to bring Chloe over to his side.
I think in addition to everything you mentioned about Cat Blanc, another HUGE advantage is that he knows who the holder of the ladybug earrings is. He could sneak attack her very easily. Unless we're just talking any anyone being able to use it, in which case this is no longer an ability. But, if it's still Adrien, then that's a massive bonus.

I think Lila and Felix both sent Timetagger in the past to defeat the two because when it comes to akumatized villains like that at least these two actually try more than Gabriel does

Not really restricted to season 3, or really relevant at all, but Chloe has had the most different akumitizations. She was Antibug, then Queen Wasp, Miracle Queen, Queen Banana, Penalteam, and that's all I know. Yes Mr pigeon has been akumatized 72 times, but it's always been the same.
In the party crasher episode he steels the miraculous and there’s a drone with them inside that is about to deliver them to Gabe but king monkey messes it up with his power

I keep wanting to say Reflekta is not terrible on paper. For some reason Akumatizations vary in power set but ultimately Reflekta has like metahuman level agility. So if she hits you all of your physical power goes away. You basically have the same physical power as Juleka unakumatized even if you're like Usain Bolt you lose your speed. If you're the strongest person on earth you lose that. That's pretty broken. But I guess IF you need something specifically off the person you're screwed. And I'll give the show this. I don't think there's ever been an outcome where the villians outside of a hand full like Pixelator have produce Onotological inertia. Meaning If say Style Queen turns you into gold dust there's really no way to get you back without the Miraculous ladybugs right? Same with Reflekta. I'm guessing she can't just capture Ladybug who was shot by the beam, bring her to Gabe, then de-Reflekta her.
I really wish we could see some of these villians with metaphysical one shots reverse their effects on a target. That would shoot Reflekta all the way up for me if she can cancel the effect. If she hits you turn into a kabuki clown with the strength of a gangly (but hot) emo chick teenager. Which is actually good.
Desperada is the same way. Again. If you can reverse the effects of the magical one shot all you got to do is put the case into a cage, reverse the effects. Silencer apparently has the standardized Akuma gives strength and agility too. The fact is he got away and only lost because the writers needed his brain to smooth out. Without her voice Marinette would have NO choice than to remove here earrings on her own or Tikki through fatigue would disenage on her own. Marinette loses the ability to use any other Miraculous because she can't speak. The moment LB loses her voice the game is won. And someone brings it up but if everything is voice activated He could have simply said "Tikki Spots Off" and defeated LB.

Honestly,if Gabe used his brain when he azumatized silencer ,he would've won then and there. All gabe had to tell silencer was to take there voices ,say "spots off" and " claws in" with they're voices,then bomb ,just chase them down when there powerless,get there miraculous and Gabe has won.
6:37 if you steal their voice after them using their powers than they detransform and cant transform back which would not be directly helpful. but if you only get their voice and find which citizen is voiceless then bingo they cant even cry for help

I always had this idea in my head but Gabriel was destroyed when Cat Blanc attacked a past version of Ladybug when he tried to steal her miraculous who's to say he would go crazy as his dad did when he lost his wife if anything ever happened to Marinette and his future children and loses everything if their future plans for each other don't work out the way they hoped so after they retire he might try to take back his miraculous and then use it on anyone or anything that might stand in his way and then take the Ladybug earrings to bring her back just compare this to Superman's greatest failure when he lost Lois and his unborn child and failed to save Metropolis and went totally nuts because of it, it would give Felix and Lila a good reason to use the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous to bring back his dad and aunt instead of using the Bunny or the Rooster to travel back to prevent Amelie's demise or use the Rooster to resurrect them because if there's no reincarnation of Adrien in a new recreated universe the less he would be anybody's problem to deal with. Plus, Felix would use it to change some bits of history where his and Lila's childhood lives turned out better than they did if there were Guardians of the Miraculous actually sharing their resources to better people's lives, keep people who make others like him and Lila feel obsessed in line, and make them feel good to have someone to look up to since Felix is more of an anti-hero who's more than just a villain and Lila could turn out the same way if the two get a slow burn relationship since there is a theory video about why does she lie boom see it make total sense to go this route if they did that

Desperada was an absoloute beast! She had multiple weapons that turn you into a sticker. She also has sniping skills that are so good that she defeated LADYBUG HERSELF, SHE HIT LADYBUG THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF TIMES! It took MONTHS for them to defeat her since Aspik kept failing to save Ladybug. Unfortunately she has that stupid weakness that she turns them into slickers. Although I do think she should have been higher just because she destroyed Ladybug.

Chat Blanc is strong, but TOO strong. He can even accidentally destroy the miraculous, and there would be no point.
You do understand that the miraculous are "indestructible" or at least can withstand a cataclysm or 2 before fully breaking.

Cataclysm can destroy miraculous, it's first shown in the episode where Chloe got akumatized while being Queen Bee. Cat Blanc also destroyed the ladybug miraculous in his timeline.
