SOPB 2018 Corporate Video with English and Chinese Subtitle

SOPB started out as a joint-venture between the Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC) and Sarawak State government in 1968 to pioneer the commercial planting of oil palms in the state. SOPB’s upstream of oil palm estates and mills are all located in the state of Sarawak, the largest state in Malaysia, and Malaysia is one of the world’s largest oil palm growing regions. In the early days, SOP had only 4,600 hectares of oil palm plantation.
SOPB Group has since then expanded its land bank to over 122,000 hectares, with 88,000 hectares planted with oil palm trees in Sarawak. Oil palm plantation and the production of crude palm oil and palm kernels will continue to remain as the sole core business of SOPB Group.
