If he is not funny he should know like its best for him to know"so he can get better at it or he is making an absolute fool of himself just being cringy . No one gets anywhere if their a** is being kissed for something their not good at. The truth hurts sometimes but its very much needed .
yeah, but his jokes ended up doing great, showing that he knew his audience pretty well, though they may not have worked on the family but they worked where they were intended to, and that's what matters here.
What I love about this scene is that even though Mitch and Claire plotted together to tell Phil to not do his jokes and Cam to stop wearing his bike shorts - Mitchell decided not to go through with it because of how much it meant to Phil nor did he want to hurt his feelings. Not that Mitch is perfect, his lie to Cam and plot with Claire caught up to him but ironically, he didn’t go through with upsetting Phil and yet in seasons 3 and 4, Phil mistreated, blackmailed and threw Mitch under the bus to protect himself and never apologised to him for all of it both times. Instead, Phil was lucky to have Mitch as his brother-in-law because he didn’t hold both instances against him for long. Mitch deserved better and an apology from Phil though.
It's a mockumentary . They were supposed to be talking to a documentary crew but ig the showrunners ditched that idea afterwards and kept the talking part as a mystery(?)
But the first property he ever sold was the first property ever sold

@@sanskritijha9658Yeah, I assume the joke is that Pritchetts are no fun, that's why Mitch is the one not laughing along with Claire.

In television, it’s called “breaking the 4th wall” and talking to the viewers. In this case, it’s you. :)
@@malovina sick
How uptight can Claire be real or extremely
Rest this comment.
you're just commenting this every damn where and your comment doesn't even make sense
The irony of this clip is everything it says about Phil (fun but not funny, have to fake laugh at it) applies to Modern Family itself.
Why watch then?
such a salty fried okra
I find it funny 😔🤝
