Everyone keeps talking about the sad cow or the fact that it's an ad, but I'm more interested in the robot crows. The crows seem to symbolize the food company's deception and it's true colors under the smiles and billboards. From the minute the scarecrow enters the factory, he's followed by a crowbot that is clearly meant to keep the workers (the scarecrows) in line. If you notice, every single time the scarecrow sees something that shows how wrong Crow Foods Inc. is, the crow robot on his shoulder takes notice and caws to remind him to get back to work, a symbol of the company hiding its true colors and controlling everything to get what they want. When he sees people taking the artificially modified food from conveyor belts, the crow caws and forces him to focus on fixing the wooden planks. When he sees the state the cows are in, the crow bot intervenes again before he can even say anything to his fellow scarecrow. Even in the factory, the crowbots constantly keep watch, acting as a shroud of darkness over the despair-filled machinery and the scarecrows working them. It's only when the crow bot is gone can the scarecrow finally take action against the things he's seen. He grows his own crops without the need for artificial growing techniques and opens his own store to the public. This time, when the crow bot comes cawing and tries to intervene, the scarecrow has had enough and shoos it away like a pesky fly, a stark contrast to the menacing influence the crowbots had earlier and proving that the scarecrow merely sees Crow Food Inc. as a fellow competitor rather than a powerful force that could crush him at any moment.

I’m glad this video is making us vegan
This give me nostalgia
I seen the cow and my emotions exploded
Finally found this video again after almost 8 years!!!!
Ahhh childhood :(( I watched this when I was gr. 1 with my classmates
I watched this when I was younger. Been searching for it ever seince
Bro same
the scariest thing about this was realizing this is a fucking ADVERTISEMENT for CHIPOTLE
I watched this in my AP class to go over rhetorical devices today, and the way they’re used in ads. My jaw DROPPED when I realized this was for a VIDEO GAME and then furthered sponsored by CHIPOTLE. y’all when I tell you we had a LONG discussion about this one 😭😭
the cow. omg i have no words. that hurt my soul
I remember crying watching this years ago
The question is after seeing this will you quit on fast food or not care???
Was this game get taken down? I want to play it but I can’t find it.
As a farmer myself this isn’t how anything in the agriculture industry works. Chipotle is misinforming you trying to make you spend more on your dumbass burritos
~This is just a way to advertise,
open up your heart and use it~
This video and the 'Honest Scarecrow' video should honestly be watched back-to-back in every single highschool as a kind of corporate propaganda desensitization program.
Remind people not to buy into ads.
The song from Willy Wonka (1971).
Such a nice touch. It looks like a chocolate factory but in alternate dark universe.
this is one of the most powerful and impressing shortfilms i have ever seen!
The cow eyes make me cry so much :'
I remember I played this when I was 5 😕😭 I been trying to find this
I ate a Chipotle burrito with chicken today and was reminded of this old ad
I screamed when I found out it was an ad
saw this in my class for GMO (Genetically Modified Organisims) vs Non-GMO foods and which one you think you support, since its a controversial topic
Why is this so sad
Andreu Race it's really not they make this up and if anything like this ever happens the farms are shut down immediately
Tobias Bark, stop this bullshit. You work in meat industry and defend it? It happens everyday. Watch the Earthlings movie and say it again. ua-cam.com/video/BrlBSuuy50Y/v-deo.html
Because it's the truth. The truth is like poetry and most people fucking hate poetry. 😔
Spirited Phoenix because it is the truth sadly😔
Because it’s true
Does anyone else notice the link between the video and the song because basically people are blinded by the adds that say "all natural" when theyre putting all these chemicals and sicknesses in their bodies while the song is saying "a world of your imagination". Also this short is kind of sad because the animals kept looking up at the screcrow but the scarecrow couldnt do anything YET. One person can make a difference.beef-ish
The music of this Short film is also used in a famous Hollywood movie "Thor Ragnarok".
