That thing looks like it means business 💪 to answer your questions, I don’t run carbon or a reactor. I only use carbon if something funky looks weird in the tank or I just cut a soft coral and to make sure toxins aren’t in the water. Good video! 👊
Woohoo,Wow~what a gorgeous -see you on my side. 👋
That thing looks huge especially once you put the carbon inside. When I used to have my carbon before me trying out the Purit I would change out carbon every two weeks.
Dennis, I have the same reactor, except it’s the medium. I only run carbon for 3 to 4 days around the first of each month. After this time period it’s usually exhausted. I use it to polish and remove yellowing organics. You can also mix your gfo and carbon together in the same media bag. It really doesn’t have to tumble to be effective.
I have the same one but smaller guess what I never used it excellent video
Damn I wish I knew about the 50% off 😂 great video
That thing is huge, I'm using a medium sized one from another company. Let us know how it works out, also the best thing I've found so far to get rid of aptasias are peppermint shrimp. I was loaded with them and bought 4 shrimp and it was all gone in about a week. They don't stop eating it, and no they've never messed with any of my coral
