From the new stuff... Granite do Chokehold. But I listen to Aqua Regia a lot too. But damn it, they're all good! Can't wait for this album and my merch.
It's nice to see a reaction from someone that really really enjoyed the song. I'm always annoyed that people reject the awesome music because it's not all heavy. These guys have lore and a story to tell with their music. You're meant to feel emotions and enjoy the performance and purpose of the music.
This has unexpectedly taken over as my favorite song from their recent singles. I went through a really rough breakup about a month ago, and this song speaks in extreme clarity to the point I'm at in my life right now. Literally the night before it got released, I was having a conversation with my ex that the lyrics sum up perfectly. The timing could not have been more uncanny.
This song feels like it is splitting the fans but I think it is the newer fans who may not have heard most of the older stuff that are so down on this song. I am with you. This song speaks to my soul. I think people hear the more upbeat vibe and the vocal effects and write it off. To me, the lyrics ARE this song. One could easily think of this song as being about unrequited love and dealing with heartbreak and loss--and it would be fine to think that. I view it as a song where Vessel is singing to himself. He is struggling to accept himself, to love himself for who he is and not what he thinks he should be or used to be. This is something I struggle with so much. The pain and longing for self-acceptance is plain to see in the word choice and in his tone. Amazing song, as always. This band is special and I am so glad we get to exist at the same time.
Calling it now. Album of the year. Each song just makes me love the band more. Lyrics are beautiful, vocals are near perfect, the vibes are just next level. ST is really something special. Just makes me smile every time I hear this song...one of my favorites so far.
It's this one. This is my favorite. And it solidified it when it hit me that this song is about depression. Someone's spiral into the depths of that kind of depression that just grips you and pulls you down into the coldest depths. And every single bit of self worth and self love slowly but surely evaporates. I love this song so much. Worship.
My favorite part of all the reaction videos to this song are the people trying to guess what it means beforehand. I did the same thing and I was wayyy wrong LOL. Love your reactions!
Ive played this song on repeat and after listening to it, i realized why it connected so much. Hes not asking someone else if they love him, hes talking to his own heart and how its so hard to love yourself
Honestly, as a "bedroom musician" that never could commit to any one style of music for longer than a single song, it's pretty cool to see a band that jumps genres the way they do. I'd completely understand metal fans not liking this, the same way I'd understand a person drawn in by this song might not like Vore, but god damn is it refreshing to see a band so clearly just doing what they want. I won't say it's my favourite song off the album so far, but I certainly don't hate it. Granite didn't start as my favourite, and while I couldn't commit to an actual favourite, it's definitely the song that has grown on me the most from the first listen until now.
I loved chokehold but this has become my favorite because of the vocal quality and what the song represents. It self acceptance or lack there of. Everyone is thinking this song is about a two people but it’s really about trying to love when yourself when you really just don’t.
You're right, it had huge summer vibes, that intro was very tropical. Loved the song, it's honestly one of my favorite tracks released from the album so far!
It makes me feel so many different things its insane! happy, nostalgic, sad, comfortable.... idk there's just so many its a weird feeling but I like it! There is a few parts that sound like an old school Nintendo game like Donkey Kong or something and it brought out a whole different feeling lol It was comforting to say the least! I want to know the correlation with the creatures in each video!
After the first listen, I knew I'd have to listen to this one a few more times to get into it. A slow burn, but totally worth the listens. It's got a great, beautiful, summery vibe that I really love. I cannot wait for the rest of the album!!! My favorite single so far is Vore, though. I can't get enough of how eerily beautiful it is.
Dude I just found your channel and my reaction was identical. What a band, what an honest reaction, I’m subscribed, let’s fuckin go. Much love from Australia 🇦🇺 mate, keep it up 🤘
This song is amazing! This track would also be so good remixed by ILLENIUM. They would add some extra punch to it but keep the amazing vocals and beautiful lyrics 🫶
Really feeling this track. I mean this most respectfully to Sleep Token: Justin Beiber wishes he could do this. Very pop but it's done at such a high level that you can't argue with it. Not what I was expecting but that's part of the novelty of it at first listen. Whatever genre they want is theirs.
We gotta get one of those producers that use AI to change the singer's voice to another singer... This song sounds like it could be on the album CHANGES by Justin Beiber. Not a bad thing at all. I LOVE THIS BAND....
What’s your favourite single so far??
I´d say Granite but definitely this one is growing on me!
Hypnosis 🧛♀️💔🖤
Vore is my favorite so far, but I honestly love all of them so much. Loving the summery carefree vibe of this one!

This. I think people are missing this. It’s about self acceptance.

This song reminds me of Fall For Me in the best way possible I was so excited that we got another gorgeous little pop ballad 😭
They really just do whatever they want, then throw it all together, and it always works! I don't know how they do it! 💜
You're right, it had huge summer vibes, that intro was very tropical.

Self love. This song is a masterpiece. 10/10

This totally belongs in Rocket League lol the beat gives me RL feels
I wasn't a fan of this since granite and vote, but this one has quickly grown on me.
I love this one too. ❤
