Hey bud. Your video just popped up on my recommendations. Dont be too afraid of pushing up the ground as a half back. The trick is to know when to do it. A player who truly excelled in this area was Heritier Lumumba. If youre not familiar with him i highly recommend checking out his old games and play style. I modelled my game off of his as a young footballer and I reached some pretty high levels in Victoria as a half back for essentially 10 years. In essence, its ok to push up the ground if you break a pack or during a turnover which has just gone to your team, kind of how a full back does in soccer when they have an inverted or overlap run offensively. But dont be pushing up the ground while leaving your man around your own 50 as a free man, thats asking for him to kick goals.

I want to think of the long run. If you kept on practicing your kicking, marking and those ground balls how much better will you be in a year. One thing that helps me not be so hard on myself is just having fun and not being afraid to make mistakes. Even the best make mistakes so no need to be hard on yourself. I BELIEVE IN YOU, you got this

@@IsaacOwusu-10 the main cause if me being hard on myself is when i make a mistake on the feild eaven a tiny one that can be fixed quickly and we can still win the footy and get it forward or something if I make one kittle slip up no matter how big i get hammered for it yelled at by my teamates I get bullied in the team and was called really rude and mean names for I'm not sure why by a player who barely rocks uo to training or games then because we aren't the most skilled team i don't have as much experience in the pressure and stuff so u tend to slip up then people again bullying me for a slip up but it's hard when I don't get alot of feild time letalone alot if time around the ball. Do you have any tips on getting ground balls more effectively and posibly woeking towards teh one touch oickups ive been told to master, getting more accurate kicks and my marking skills and juts bit being scared of the ball especially when people are around me ehen eve ri nsr my feet tend to stutter do you have any tips or practice drills I can do to better my skills I also despite being told I'm a fast runner and can run fast I can't run much in games or ever due to jus getting puffed do you have any endurance baced tips aswell

It seems your teammates are the best teammates, but that’s might be out of your control. What I want you to do is to work on your fitness and improve your skills so that way you can help your team win 🏆. Tips for ground ball gets are bend your knees and watch the ball until it’s in your hands so you drop it less. Fitness tips train sprint training 2-3 times a week for about 10-15 minutes. If you want to get better it’s going to take time work hard over the offseason and if you need any help hit me up

@@militarychase864 train hard and believe in yourself,
This is only my second year of footy and I’ve made heaps of representative teams because all I do in my spare time is practice. Don’t let them get to your head I believe in you bro.
