- How to Draw a Celtic Knot Border Step by Step is a tutorial using a freehand method without grid paper. Celtic Knotwork is a passion and as a follower of the Zentangle ® Method, I believe in a low stress, repetitive system for drawing Celtic Knots. Don't know why I started on this afternoon, but I have spent the better part of three hours trying to understand what was going on. My drawing is just too messy, but I think I finally got one to work. Now to do some practice. Your instructions are perfect, my following isn't. Thanks for recording it so I can go over and over it again and again.
