Daughter went to University of Leeds and we visited her many times the three years she was there. Absolutely fell in love with Leeds we still travel and spend time there even though she's graduated. If I had the funds, I would re-locate to the Headingley area, no question best part of Leeds.

Miss Headingley! We're in Taiwan now and unable to visit since 2019. COVID had forced us to separate away from our daughter who live in Headingley. This video bring me tears!

Ha ha that's one of the things that Headingley is most famous for! I know what you mean. I stayed in headingley from 1980 to 1984 when I was a student at Leeds University. Having walked every day to and back from the university to my place at hollin lane, I can sense the tension back then. Went back again in 2019 to walk the same route. Nothing has change.
Moved down to there right-in Beckett's Park as my Brother lived faceing the petrol station,loved the 3 horseshoues on my days off dinner + gret beer a place i grew to love dearly working in the Embassey Hotel up Otley Rd as a Duty Manager. Back when 18 i had it all money and good clothes and one hell of a highly paif JOB,to 2 days of per week and mostly spent in John's 3 horseshoues pub .....great plave to live also would go back in a second as i have pals down the bottom end in Granby Houses worth a bit and put on a massive RAVE in 2000 for the Millenium and won alsorts as they made a casstle at the end of the street around from Then Original Oak it was called computer buff called Stevie ( my Brother who im still trying to TRACE) SCOTTISH FELLA IN HIS 60S
A great city it is too! And the suburbs of Leeds, from Headingley to Horsforth and more give it an eye-catching range of character wherever you roam :) Thank you for watching - I really hope you enjoyed the video!

Used to go on LOTS of Pub Crawls in my Haydays, LOTS i mean lots and Headingley was one besides Knaresborough, lots loved them good Ol days
