It's not that long, but it takes a long time because of the traffic. I recommend coming to Amalfi Beach through a travel agency.
We had a great time looking around the pretty village of Positano, stopping by Sorrento to see limoncello made from lemons, and stopping by a traditional market. The accommodation I stayed in Sorrento was a large villa with good facilities, so I spent my time comfortably and leisurely. The lemon trees everywhere made me feel good and I felt my stress disappearing.
