This is the only time I think Madonna ever changed a tour's set list. I remember when the music for this started (I saw the Philly opening show) I was so confused. "This isn't Gone!" I thought. It took a good ten or fifteen seconds for me to come to my senses & realize it was You'll See. Made the show even more special - knowing she did a song that hadn't (at that point) been performed at any of the other tour dates.
assuming when ur comment was made, i think sticky and sweet tour had happened and she did change the set list many times during that one but yeah this was the first time i think
@@ethypoo during the sticky & sweet 2008 she performed acapellas at fan's requests before Hung Up. in the 2009, she performed Frozen (in place of Hung Up), Holiday and Dress You Up (in place of Heartbeat and Borderline). The only change during the 2008 leg to the standard setlist i think was in Buenos Aires where she sang Don't Cry for Me Argentina
I sat 2nd row for this show in Philadelphia. It was a pleasure to be there and witness this rare treat (singing You'll See - live), I believe she only sang this in Phili and maybe 1-2 other cities. She's ALL woman and EVERY woman !!! Don't EVER stop !
I saw her sing this twice in philadelphia and 6 times in NY, then she went back to Gone for NJ. Should've been on the DVD somewhere along w/ the Paradise video.
How is she underrated? She is the 20th Century's record-holding best-selling female artist. She has sold more concert tickets than any other solo female artist ever. In her peak she held 30 simultaneous Guinness World Records for her music and songwriting. She's won 7 Grammy Awards and 20 MTV Video Music Awards. she's not underrated, she is very much rated!
@@gregorm93 Madonna has always been criticized for her vocal range; from the very beginning, even mocked at times. I am solely referring to the critics and public’s perception of her vocal capabilities over the years. The only time I recall hearing any positive reviews concerning her vocal talents is around the Evita and ROL eras. People don’t usually think of her as a great vocalist and I am merely pointing out she has a beautiful voice and think she deserves more recognition.
I was still grateful though- because I got to see "You'll See" live at the Fleet Center, and "Gone" (in my opinion, the best all-around track on the Music CD) on HBO- the best of both worlds.
excellent! the full DWT performance of this song. thanx 4 posting. in my opinion both Gone & You'll See are good, so they should put this song as a special feature in the DVD
Madonna had her great moments ... and I still believe ... ... like this moment ... this song had not really heard her sing live ,,,,,, I miss this part and is fatal ..... ... I can only tell you ... that Madonna was not born yesterday ........ obviously her songs cannot currently be sung in the same tone actually ...she has 61..I respect that decision ... because I know how big it was and this artist is still ....... I can't believe ... my respects to those who lived so many years this magnificent moment ... this song is another jewel of her great successes ....... .im declare myself a faithful fan.....eternity fan..
Madonna didn't sing "you'll see" in Paris (France) during her DWT french's dates. Here in Philadelphia seems an exception, this is why I guess we didn't find the track in the dvd... But anyway that's a pretty nice song...
Essa música e dedicada pra todas as mulheres deste mundo que ela canta na verdade e a forma pra dizer para as mulheres vcs são fortes independente de qualquer situação desta vida e nesse mundo parabéns essa DIVA ÚNICA DO MUNDO
Love this song! Should have made the set list in all cities. But not in place of Gone as that is one of my favourites too… maybe In place of the Funny Song 👍
Her last album contains some of the best songs of her career, and this song is literally barely above middle of the road schlock. Her lyrics and melody are what elevate it.
Lower key than the original, but she should have performed this instead of “Gone” at every concert, and maybe added “Gone” for Detroit/HBO and the last concert.

Same! She sang You'll See at my concert at MSG. Wasn't expecting that!
she sang this perfectly..... dont know why she never sang this more live
Her voice sounds great!!!

Wish this was one the Drowned World DVD! Bloody good live this song!!!
goosebumps deluxe. love her clear voice & the crowd going insane. wish I'd been there!
gox75 so had I 😕
I cried and screamed when she sang " You'll See " when I went for her NYC shows...
Best vocal era!
And people say she can't sing... this proves it!
I wish I could be there, I really like this song and all the fans who where in philadelphia that day are very lucky.
this song should be in the dvd!!!
So emotional and her voice is really good here!!!!! #VivaMadonna
BEAUTIFULLLLL VOICE!
Fantastic vocals

so rare... so lovely
EXCELLENT VOCALS..! sounds like the studio version.
8/8/01 in Boston too! UNBELIEVABLE- the woman is a goddess!

My all time wish Madonna would sing live Spanish eyes and take a bow and your see would be great
I wish this was on the DWT DVD!
...no one can take from you Madonna. Great and Marvelous Madonna.
I was at the Atlanta show and she sang You'll See there also
this is just beautiful. You can feel the emotions...
Beautiful performance. Such an underrated vocalist. Hoping this sees a HQ release someday.

she should perform this song for the new tour!
madonna has a beautiful voice ,it she would just do them slow songs....

Rare masterpiece....
Love this song!! Thank you for sharing.
a leaked setlist for SAS tour says she will perform this, OMG my fav Madonna ballad eva, I will die I will DIE!!!
Se isso foi mesmo ao vivo, o q parece mto, foi épico. Uma obra de arte. Fã da voz da Madonna. Uma das melhores.

If she is not the greatest performer ever, I don't know who the F is!
Shine, Madonna, shine.

Id love to see this in professional footage :(
Love this song! Should have made the set list in all cities. But not in place of Gone as that is one of my favourites too… maybe In place of the Funny Song 👍

I know you asked 6 years ago but good things come to those who wait.
O can't believe she sang gone instead of you'll see
Antes do WTC ainda. Show
Uaaau
Her new stuff is so mediocre compared to this. I never knew how effective she could be all alone on stage with just her and her slow ballads.
Her last album contains some of the best songs of her career, and this song is literally barely above middle of the road schlock. Her lyrics and melody are what elevate it.

very good interpretation but lousy track.
Lousy?!??!
