After seeing comments, want to let you know we shot part 2 using MK Ice & Fire before uploading part 1. We'll continue forward using IGN's version if that's better. Some asked why we didn't just play the game. I figured we'd have played on easy mode to quickly get back to the story, so it made more sense to watch the cutscenes like a movie. The issue with MkIceAndFire is that they cut out, censor or crop out gory moments so it would be best to look at someone else’s video to get the full experience

Watch from Gamer's Little Playground they don't cut or crop the video.
If you watch it from fire and ice they are some missing scenes that are cut especially on disturbing scenes with violence so if you want to see all parts you can Play it yourselves or find other video that shows everything

Fun fact: the Scorpion in this new timeline is not Hanzo Hasashi, who was the Scorpion you guys knew about back then. Instead, he is Kuai Liang, the one who was the second Sub-Zero in the previous timeline. Presumably, Liu Kang decided to give Hanzo Hasashi a peaceful life so Kuai Liang became Scorpion instead.
EDIT: Hanzo is a child and a new recruit to the Shirai Ryu, which is the successor to the Lin Kuei in this timeline.
Smoke's Ending revealed that Hanzo is still a child after the event. He wasn't having any peaceful life, and actually tried to steal from Smoke. Smoke decided to bring him to Kuai Liang and trained him in the Shirai Ryu.

Just in case it wasn't clear, this new Scorpion is Kuai Liang, the younger brother of Bi-Han, who became the 2nd Sub Zero in the past timeline. Hanzo Hasashi was the original Scorpion, so it's a bit weird now how that is set up.
Also, I love Johnny Cage because despite how arrogant, greedy and self obsessed he is, Liu Kang is right in that he does rise to the challenge. In both timeline he becomes a champion and hero of Earthrealm and never thinks twice about saving people. And hey, if he gets to flirt with some hot chicks on the way, so be it.
I've never really got where people get the greedy part of Johnny's character from. Arrogant? Perhaps, although I say cocky as arrogance has a connotation that one is owed something w/out reason. Self-obsessed? Yeah, definitely. But greedy? I don't see it. Sure, he doesn't live modestly, but that's practically fitting w/ his occupation as an action movie star. It's not like he's committing fraud & screwing people over.

after you watch the complete cinematics and each characters endings...so much is explained and makes sense. most "loose ends" so to say are resolved. and most characters have a satisfying ending. I believe most MK fans will enjoy this new installment of he franchise.
what i like about this game is finally everything is canon no more "what if" endings. all the endings are actually canon to the events in the story, same with the intro dialogues.

You asked about a adventure based mortal kombat game and MK Deception is pretty sure such one. It has a story mode with an main character where you could travel across all realms.
For a character specific game, as you said, Shaolin Monks is an example. It focuses on Liu Kang and Kung Lao.

MKIceandFire has some missing scenes and cuts out some of the cool stuff. IGN has all the scenes
I watched the MK Ice and fire version and they cut the some of the gory scenes. You can watch gamer's little playground if you want to see some of the gore.

I played this game a week ago and it is amazing, I love that these characters have new origins and form new friendships
So, after have seen thus by myself, i know for a fact that Jaby and Achara will love act 1 and 2... Now for act 3 (the end basically)...its going to be interesting hear their thoughts

Eh, I have a bone to pick w/ the combat. It honestly has taken several steps down IMO. Some of the striking techniques don't look anywhere near as crisp & technically sound as they did in previous games.

I want Kai, another Shaolin Monk, to be featured in MK again. He was in MK4 with fireballs that rise from the ground, fall from the sky, has a "vertical roundhouse" flip kick, and a handstand move. He could have been MK's first caopeira/tricking style fighter.
The writing in this story mode is absolutely insane. It’s literally way more interesting than most new movies🙌🏼

It's the standard bad NRS has always been. They've always been better at presentation than good storytelling.
Some interactions are really good, other ones are awful.
People complain about every little thing, this is by far their best story and it tons of fun. People take themselves so seriously, lol. Just kick back and watch some MK.
Mkiceandfire usually cuts out scenes in his videos. Its better to react to gamers little playgrounds uploads of these cutscenes

Guys, I recommend you watch to a different video, MkIceandFire cuts out a lot of scenes and theres a point when it gets really confusing, also you should watch the alternate ending of Mk 11, its important for this story

Nothing wrong with MK Ice and Fire but they cut many scenes. I recommend Little Gamers Playground for this one.
good stuff! lots of changes. good mostly. like mentioned, Sub Zero here is Bi-Han(first Sub Zero, killed that turns to Noob Saibot) and Scorpion is Kaui Liang(second Sub Zero, Bi-Han's brother, also has a scar) instead of him being Hanzo Hashashi(usual Scorpion). Theres only one clan here, Lin Kuei. i kind of like this change of them being brothers. love Reptile and Baraka here! enjoy the rest of the story
Jaby scorpion (Kuai Liang) you see in mk1 was subzero in mk11 and the subzero (Bi-han ) you see in mk1 was Noob saibot in mk11 characters are changed. Scorpion is not Hanzo Hasashi in mk1.

Subzero in this is the original 1st gen Subzero(the one who was killed by Hasashi/Scorpion and became Noob later on in the original timeline), and Scorpion is his blood brother who in the old timeline was the 2nd gen Subzero, so Hasashi isn't in this universe so far. I really love the changes in this game from what i've seen.

You can feel Bi-han still has that bloodthirsty streak in him, he is definitely gonna turn and join Shang Tsung and Scorpion is probably gonna have to kill him then he will become Noob, or he will stay Sub-Zero. In case you guys don't know, this Sub-Zero is the first one from the old games that was killed by Scorpion and became Noob, and this Scorpion is actually his little brother that was the Sub-Zero you guys knew.

Interesting touch: when *Raiden* was Elder for *Earthrealm* and he was “too” right he was wrong so it’s funny this go-round when he’s in the wrong with *Kung Lao* he loses though when he’s upon the right path as *Earthrealms* champion he wins over any of those who come his way

it's so weird how they made the faces... Li Mei is definitely Kelly Hu, you can see her real face in Li Mei, and the voice matches... meanwhile Kwan Chi has a bit of an Indian accent to his voice, and his face looks like Roshan Seth as either Dhalsim from Street Fighter, or Chattar Lal from Temple Of Doom.
I wonder what this would imply, if they took references from not-the-voice-actors-faces to make the heads.

The only gripes I have with MK1 so far is the designs of some characters like Ermac and Tanya.
I hope they switch from MK Ice and Fire to Gamers Little Playground for the rest of the reactions because they show the uncensored gore and there are scenes from MKIF’s video that are cut for almost no reason.

Question regarding that Indiana Jones movie: Is Mercury even that toxic? People used to drink it as a supplement, before realising it was bad for you. Ingesting it over a long time will give you health issues, but I don't think it will kill you like lava.
