I've owned every iphone up until the X. I switched to the Galaxy S9+ and I must say I love it. After you get over the anxiety of not having an iPhone you enjoy android. Full of customizable features. iPhone's are a bit easier to use but I got used to and love my Galaxy.

IMPORTANT: At 9:34 Samsung's video colours look reddish and oversaturated due to a bug on Macs which render videos tagged with Samsung's Colour Profile Rec. 2020 (9-1-9) with that reddish tint. On the phone itself they look right. I uploaded a vid explaining the issue in more detail.

I just switched to an S9+ from an iPhone X, I love the change. But I have to admit there are certain feature iPhone has but not the Samsung. On top of that, I hate how "messy" Android OS is, especially when it comes to file-naming and such... (If anybody gets what I'm trying to say here, lol) Other than that, loving my S9+, RIP my long-Apple relationship.

I moved from Apple to Samsung and android is much much better.. I took me 2 weeks to learn how to use the Samsung but once I got used to it, it is much much better than Apple.. Apple customer service is better though but for mobile I wont be going back to Apple in a hurry.
Watching this on my Samsung s9. After 7 years with Apple I finally left after being disappointed. I love my S9, so much more better looking and it's a lot more customisable.

For me, it's S9 over the iPhone any day. Following reasons
-Better audio especially with the Sony LDAC codec and you can play FLAC.
-Better camera controls which equal to better pics (Pro mode)
-Cheaper
-MicroSD slot

I guess Both phones have their merits. I prefer iPhone X as i love to use iOS but rest We are not loosing anything IMP if we chose iPhone X or S9 Plus. Both are filled with many features. Happy to see S9 Plus is worthy contender to iPhone X and they kept price low compared to iPhone X. Hope Apple will bring down prices that will never happen but hope for the best!

Nitesh Mhatre I think your review in you first 2 sentences is spot on, first and foremost. You have to know which OS you prefer. You also have to no how to use them and have some common sense, unlike Josh and his waist of time review. Your 2 sentences were thoroughly better since you didn’t say anything that wasn’t true. I haven’t used the S9 Plus so I can’t comment on whether it’s a worthy contender. However since I’ve used the Note 8 and I think it’s not only a worthy contender, I think it’s considerably better than the iPhone. Because of this, I would think the S9+ would at least be a contender if not better. I’m obviously partial to the Android OS since I really live the open architecture platform versus the iOS that’s only what they allow (as I’m typing this on an iPad). Josh had his S9+ for 48 hours. How long have you had you S9+ and iPhone X? I know you said you prefer the iOS operating system, while I prefer Android OS, it’s quite refreshing to find someone who has experienced both devices before commenting on them. I find a lot of people who recommends a particular phone over another, but they haven’t used the other phone at all. I know one person who was going on and on about the Pixel 2XL on how was better than basically every phone out, until I found out he used his friend’s phone for a hour and the rest of the phones he mentioned he never used. I chuckled. What other phones have you used with iOS as well as Android. Also do you have any idea when they are going to update iOS? This version is horrible, especially with the battery life which I know they acknowledged. And they keep coming out with updates to supposedly fix it, which one if then wasn’t bad, but the last 2 were horrible. I read several articles that mentioned that you should only update to the most recent if you have the previous update installed, which unfortunately my daughter installed. She thought she was helping me out. It was nice, but I’m waiting now. I’ve tried explaining to her that no matter what OS you have, you shouldn’t necessarily update immediately. Security yes, without a doubt! However, I keep reminding her that all of these phones, doesn’t matter iOS, Android, Windows, whatever you have, it doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to update. The phone you own was creating during a particular OS and was optimized to work the best on that OS. So by updating you may actually cause your phone to work better, but also worse than it did. So you really need to see what features come with the new OS and if you really need/want them in order to take the chance on updating. The other idea is to wait and see what these reviewers who are going to change their phones anyways, say how their phones respond to a particular update. I think she’s finally getting it because she said she forgot when she updated the last time. Well, enjoy your phones!

I don't know about that but would belive it has a slightly higher chance of cracking on a drop compared to the iPhone X. It has gorilla glass in the front (don't know 'bout the back) that I would describe as a soft kind of glass, which means it's good at absorbing impact but easily scratchable.

i went into the Apple store today just to see what the hype was about the iPhone x and I really didn't see it. it is so small and it just bored me. granted I have the s8+, so I'm used to having a big phone and a lot of features.. but I just don't see how people can spend 1k on the iPhone x. i also found it kind of hard to adjust without the home button being there.. the gestures just make it confusing. I'm sure it is a great phone, but for me Samsung phones will always be better

I had iphone 6 for personal phone and nexus 6p as work phone and damn thing keep crashing when I was trying to take photo, I literally through that shit in the wall.

Eric Anderson----No, no, no. Even Samsung uses a display based on patents from Universal Display, not Samsung. So does Apple. Universal Display then licenses companies to manufacture (such as Samsung, LG, and several Chinese companies) using Universal's technology. So it's like Universal is the chef, and Samsung just puts in the oven. Also Apple does their own software to make the screen look better. That is all.
