I think in Season 3 it was revealed that Clark was a virgin waiting to save himself for marriage and Lois completely respecting and admiring him for it. No way in hell they would write stuff like that today.
@@FLORIDAMAN8957 Yes, that's one of my absolute favorite things about Clark, actually. Clark being a virgin until he's almost 30 bc he was waiting for the right person. I wasn't a fan of Lois' immediate reaction when he told her. She freaked out a bit and then couldn't even say the word "virgin", but by the end of the conversation she respected and admired him for it, even saying that she wished she'd waited because all of her relationships had been "federal disasters". I just feel like it's such a romantic thing, especially for a man, to have waited for the right person even though it took him until he was almost 30 to find her. And it was brought up multiple times after that, too, even in that New Krypton storyline at the end of season 3 and beginning of season 4. That would definitely never be written into a modern TV show nowadays.
I love Dean Cain's Clark so much. Your description of passionate and captivating is so true. I'd add warm and gentle, too. He just gives off this vibe of being one of those people who you could just sit in a room with and be comforted by their presence. And yes, I love this Lois and Teri plays her perfectly.
I’ve NEVER understood the Hollywood idea that “once the couple gets together, we lose heat! Or have nowhere to go!”. The idea is as silly as it is stupid. Life doesn’t stop once people get married. Hell, if anything, it gets MORE interesting. It’s just an excuse hack writers use. Hollywood is long overdue for new blood. Cause that excuse is just tired.
Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher had the same chemistry as Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder. The tension they created on screen was fantastic. They took great care of keeping the the movie characters alive. They still didn't copy them but took the relationship between Lois and Clark to the next level.
I adore this show! Lois and Clark‘s relationship develops into one of the more healthy, loving married relationships I’ve ever seen in a television show. And the focus on Clark is brilliant, pointing out that Clark Kent is who he is, and Superman is what he can do. He is intelligent, kind, and incredibly gentle. He is by no means perfect, but he is inherently good, and he’s literally powered by sunshine, so the upbeat optimism suits him. Thank you for making this video!
I love Lois and Clark. I have also got the DVDs. I was telling my daughter this morning that in this version of Superman his greatest power is the power of his heart and that power is the one we all have.
@@ZakynthosDiamandis Yes and no. He put on the act, but he also wanted people to like him as Clark Kent. When he was about to reverse time and Jor-El's voice came to him, he also heard Jonathan Kent's voice....guess who he listened to? People dump on Reeve's version of CK, but he was the first one to bring some real humanity to the role.
@ZakynthosDiamandis He really ruined Superman for a lot of people who enjoyed the earlier portrayals, such as George Reeves (who I think was the best). Christopher Reeve made Clark an idiot and obnoxious. And ever since Reeve people think that Superman needs to be more on the lankier side, like narrow faced, I mean. Whereas Superman should have the body of a 1930s strongman, and a box chin/face.
Same Also Late 30's I Will Never Forget Shows Like This. Also Batman The Animated Series + Batman Beyond ❤. WB Was Always a Big Part Of My Life. Probably Why I Like HBO Max So Much.
I remember when I was like 10 TNT would air back to back reruns of this show during the summer. I remember waking up at like 4 in the morning to watch them (: good times
I was born after the show had ended, but my sister got the full DVD set for Christmas when we were kids. I have fond memories of watching it as a child, and my brother and I have recently started rewatching it on HBO Max. I love this show!
I watched it when I was in first grade. I got the DVD set for Christmas one year too and immediately burst into tears. Glad you share fond memories of it with your family.
I miss this show! I wish they’d come back to do season 5 - it could even be set in real time 30 years later, and they’d have a grown up son/daughter. Just to close things off.
The last thing we need is for them to write more unnecessary teen or young adult offsprings of Superman 💀 I’d love to get a reboot, but with Lois and Clark actually having a child and raising that child, as a CHILD, not a teen or older. The show portrayed the struggles of marriage well, and I’d love to see them Portray the struggles of raising children
As a 90s kid from the UK, this was my jam! And also my first entry point into Superman. Everything about this show reminds me of simpler times and fond memories! Thanks for the retrospective, it was like travelling back in time 😁
I was older than most of you guys, I was a senior in high school in 1993 and watched this back then and all through college. I remember TNT would even air reruns of the show while new episodes were on ABC, and TNT continued running reruns until 1999 or maybe even the early 2000s I believe. When you wanted to get out of writing that big paper or study for a test in 1997 or 1998, this was the show to go to, it was on a rerun somewhere.
I’m pretty sure the episodes did not go to TNT until the show ended. I’m saying this because I remember when those were on TNT and I think it was fall of 1997 or sometime sometime in early 1998 which would have been after the show abruptly ended after four seasons. I remember recording with my VCR honeymoon in Metropolis and pheromone my lovely, two season one episodes I loved
The one thing I appreciate about this series is a chemistry between Dean Kane and Terry Hatcher. I love that Clark was very playful and would tease Lois from time to time, which made it very believable. But at the end of the day, Lois fell in love with Clark because he is, kind to her, compassionate, and he has very strong roots. Thanks large part two Martha and Jonathan.
It's amazing how a tv show can impact your life i used to watch this in my childhood it was a pure moment of pleasure for the kid with a big imagination that i was and now it just a really good memory, we used to watch it on a French channel we only had 6 channels in algeria and it was one of those moments where all the family is reunited
For my family during the early to mid 90s, after church on Sunday afternoon, we'd order a pizza or some other takeout. Then, it was America's Funniest Home Videos at 7, America's Funniest People at 7:30, and Lois and Clark at 8:00. It was the end of the weekend and the start of the school week the next morning. I really miss those times.
Fabulous review, Great job. It's a show that was a big part of my childhood and still is today. I Met Dean Cain in Dublin Ireland in 2018. What a nice guy he is, This show really deserves a Blu Ray release, Hopefully we will get it considering Smallville is getting a blu ray release soon!
Thank you very much. It’s the first UA-cam review I’ve done. I’m hoping to do more for other 90s-00s shows in the near future. I was fortunate enough to to have met Dean and Teri in 2017 and landed a photo with and a personalised autograph from both. They are both great people.
Fun fact: on the comics side of things, the creators intended for Lois & Clark to be married by around Superman #75. They were building up to that during the "triangle era" of the comics. When the Lois & Clark TV show went into production, the higher ups wanted to have synchronicity with the show and the comics. In other words, they wanted the wedding to happen simultaneously in the comics and the show. As a result, their marriage had to be stalled until the relationship in the show show could "catch up." They scrambled to find something to do with the the big #75 issue. Editor Paul Levitz often joked "Let's kill him!" during pitch meetings. This time, they ran with his idea. Thus, The Death of Superman occurred, a monumental shake-up for the Superman comics, a huge headline-grabbing iconic storyline, and changing the comics landscape in ways we're still feeling today.
ive only seen bits n peices as a kid n now currently rewatching ngl the episode 1 season 1 has caught my heart its charming and that music really does something to you its so nostalic
Same here I started to watch Lois and Clark when I was very young and that was my first introduction to Superman and it will forever be for me there is no other Superman or Clark Ken!
Great review. 39 now and I am still a hard core fan. I still have all of my old tv guides and Tiger Beat, Bop and ALL magazine pictures I was able to get my hands into back then. haha
Thanks for this video! My parents started watching this show before I was born, since then, Lois & Clark - is the most favourite story in our family. I was introduced to superman by L&C and my parents too. This show is the most important part of my life ❤ P.S.: I have some quicktime 7 360 files, where you can see Perry's office, Daily Planet, Clark's apartment and interactive shelf with Clark's suits (obviously, all of this from L&C) also I have full collection of cards from 1995 about L&C
I love this show. It was my first introduction with Superman also. I rewatch it every now and than. And every time I fell in love again. You are right Terry is the best Lois of all time. Part 1 of season 3 is great. But after the failed wedding season 3 went down fast. Season 4 ist my favourite. I love seeing them as a strong Couple.
Loved this show in the 90's. Teri Hatcher is definitely my favorite Lois. Putting more emphasis on Clark allowed her to shine &, as you mentioned, it was nice seeing Clark as a reporter. The chemistry between Hatcher/Cain/Shea was amazing. Not as much a fan of Cain now as I'm not a Fox News viewer, but I did love his version of Clark. I agree with you that Christopher Reeve is forever the best Superman.
This was a GREAT show in the first season. Then it sort of floundered before getting weird and lame near the end. It still holds a fond place in my heart because of the early episodes.

Hi, it could have been worth mentioning that the first season, having a different tone from the following ones, was largely based on John Byrne's Man of Steel comic books, published in 1986 (the diminished powers, the central role of Clark instead of Superman, ...) to the point where several episode were literally transposed from the printed paper scene by scene. Ciao
Andrew, THANK YOU, for a simply SUPERB look at "Lois & Clark". You encapsulated and beat for beat explained what made the show so memorable. It continued the character of Superman seen in previous versions but expanded on what was explored and shown in Reeve's films. But, in a inspired move, it explored each character and their bond with each other. Everyone was family. A show where their species didn't matter. Love is love. In many ways, "Lois & Clark" succeeded where "Man of Steel" hadn't: Clark's life, was used to, show despite his powers he was the Son of two humans who instilled in him 'a way' greater than any country or planet. But of two people who showed him compassion and SAVED him. A message we all can learn from.
One thing that I brought up to Teri when I met her was what I felt the message of the show was. I had her write "Love Conquers All" on my print, because that's the message I take from it. Especially with how the season 3 cliffhanger goes. If Lois and Clark love each other enough they will find a way to make it work and survive. And this series shows how to build a strong relationship that is not based on sexual chemistry. It's about connecting emotionally. Something that bugged me about the Christopher Reeve universe is this idea of a " Catholic Priest" Superman. Superman can't serve humanity and have a relationship. Lois & Clark and other versions have a more "Protestant Minister" view where you can serve humanity and have a relationship.
I had to watch this video after finishing season one. Man, this video nearly brought me to tears. Your music selection of Jay Gruska’s orchestration from the show was perfect. I’m sad to see Jimmy and Cat gone after just finishing season one. The 90s were notorious for “Aunt Viv’s”. a.k.a., so many unexpected casting changes or removals in long running series or TV shows. Once I get familiarized with a face, it’s hard for me now that I’m older to get used to seeing a new person in a role that someone else used to hold. To Hollywood, they could care less. And sometimes it needs to be done if an actor or actress is being uncooperative on set. But I just felt season one, like other people, had that spark. It was a lot of setting up, but it made me excited just to see where everyone was going to develop besides, just Lois and Clark. Cat served her purpose, but eventually she was comedic relief that was needed to ease the tension of season one’s hard hitting episodes. A proper write off would’ve been nice. And Michael as Jimmy really proved to be a hero in his own right. In my opinion, most shows don’t really get that casting right in the very beginning , but I feel Lois and Clark did. I watched your video, so yes, I was given spoilers to the rest of the series, but I remember watching clips here and there on UA-cam when I first was learning about Lois and Clark. So I don’t really feel like anything will be too spoiled for me if I choose to continue. But, if there’s anyone else on here who really loves season one and continued with the rest of the series, what was your opinion moving forward? Was it worth it? Or was it not the same?
Loved Superman growing up. My introduction to Superman was due to my uncle showing me the '66 "The new adventures of Superman" cartoon by Filmation. I read the comic books and watched "Lois and Clark" as well as "Superman: TAS".
you have to remember the kind of tv we had back then. Hell I had a black and white 19 inch tv, the show looked great on it and it looked good on the family’s 32 inch color tv. Yes on today’s tvs even the movie looks bad..
I always say the same thing. Dean Cain's Clark Kent is the kind of guy I aspired to be - the same can't be said for all the other iterations of a clumsy, bumbling, Clark Kent from other actors. Christopher Reeve is top actor, top Superman and best at creating two truly different characters, followed by Henry Cavill. But the best Clark Kent goes to Dean Cain.
Lois & Clark will always be looked down on and that's a shame because this really is the superior Superman series. All four seasons have much to offer although Season 3 will always be my favourite for the stories told.
I was in my mid to late teens watching this great show in the UK Saturday early Evening 😅 god my memory is good this or Baywatch on the other main terrestrial channel at the same time 😂
Great video, thanks for sharing. I have met both Dean and Teri and was a big fan in the 90’s…watched from season 1 starting Jan 1994 in the UK, until it ended in 1997. I remember the day I got up early before school to watch Teri on GMTV and she told the presenters they ended it in the states. I cried watching that interview and somewhere have it in video. Teri was pregnant with Emerson at the time. I videoed every other episode and any interviews etc etc too back then!. Still love the show now but don’t really get as much chance at 42 to watch it!. I always thought Dean was 6ft tall…that’s what magazines said in the 90’s (and that Teri is 5ft 6in).
This was my first introduction to superman to even before the comics. I agree bout Lois, Hatcher was brill. Pritty sure in the uk it was just called the new adventures of superman tho. I rember dean kane being on kids Saturday morning tv showing how they did the flying special fx
Season 4 is actually my favorite season because of Lois and Clark being married. It just adds another layer to their relationship. Their relationship doesn't take a backseat after finally getting married. It's still in the forefront and they still have so many special moments. There's even something special about their less remarkable moments. Plus, I never get enough of their chemistry and it seems even more off the charts once they're married. I really watch the show for their relationship first and foremost. I also really like the multiple episode story arcs in seasons 3 and 4. Some of my favorite episodes are the H.G. Wells episodes. The clone/amnesia arc was a little frustrating the first time I watched it, though, but I appreciated it more when I re-watched it. This was also my first introduction to Superman when I was a kid. I knew basic Superman lore, but I didn't even know Lois Lane was an established character since the beginning of the comics lol. I started watching it when it was originally on TV. I was 11 when it started. It was just this past August that I decided I wanted to re-watch it for the first time and I really fell in love with the show and with the Lois and Clark relationship all over again.
1993-1994 was a really exciting time to be a Superman fan. For Christmas 93 I received The Death of Superman/World without a Superman/Return of Superman comic book collections in paperback from an aunt, they are to this day the most exciting & enjoyable comics I've read, with one eye on the New Years Day 94 airing of the Lois & Clark Pilot movie on BBC1 followed by the screenings of series one, called simply The New Adventures of Superman, every Saturday thereafter. I was totally into this new mullet haired Superman of the comics & I absolutely loved Dean Cain in the role because he was like the Superman of the mid 90s come to life & his performance as Clark Kent made the character into to someone who seemed like a good friend. I was knocked out by Teri Hatchers funny & sexy Lois too & John Sheas Lex Luthor was a genuinely cool person you loved to hate. In truth, what Sam Raimi did with Tobey Maguire & Kirsten Dunst in the Spider-man movies to great acclaim & enormous box office Ten years later, Lois&Clark did with Dean & Teri from 93 onward & like I said it was a great time to be a Superman fan
Actually… I think I remember reading somewhere that the real reason why or the other reason why they recast for Jimmy Olsen was because the previous actor was asking for way too much money and he apparently did have a bit of an attitude problem.
I'm barely a minute into the video but as a kid who watchted back in the day I already want to say that no Superman before or after got the color pallette so god damn well.
I love this show. Watched the initial run and have watched through the series 3 times on DVD. I think the biggest problem, as the series went on, was they felt a need to move Lois and Clark’s relationship forward (or backwards) every week which became really forced and led to some ridiculous episodes (frog clones, amnesia, etc.). I also thought they rushed getting rid of Lex. The relationship between those two had a great Sherlock/Moriarty thing going.
I still think this is the best writing for Superman and his supporting cast. It really captured the essence of Clark, Lois, Lex and the Daily Planet staff. They really seemed to ''get'' the character. Unlike Snyder who tried to make Superman a Batman knock off, moping around brooding and killing off John Kent. I do feel the series lost something when Lex left the regular cast.
L&C depends heavily on a really fine, but rather small cast, unlike Smallville, where many more characters have been introduced, but e.g. didn't go beyond the single episode featuring Michael Mckean as Perry White, or on the other hand: killing Jimmy Olson (and resurrecting him magically in the strange last episode). While Teri and Dean depicted a remarkable chemistry and development, the stories tried to avoid unnecessary anachronisms to the original feeling/ideas, especially when it comes to technical advances. Also, SFX/VFX ... well, it was the 90ies, and while still somewhat better than e.g. Knight Rider, you could still smell the studio aura while sparks, dust and smoke filled a scene. Some of the villains were drawn in a comical way, not matching the modern and sometimes serious chemistry of the center of the storytelling. But still, the romance stayed in everybodies memory, suppressing the increasingly ridiculous ressurections of Lex Luthor or some characters fresh from a Disney comic. Getting rid of Kat Grant was a mistake, quite the same for Mayson Drake - a fine romance needs counterparts. That's were Smallville shined, a decade later. Both had guest stars, but the whole universe got projected into the presence, also adopting brand new tech, and managed not to make the chosen solution unplausible, at times. Also Kryptonite was heavily exploited (especially the red one, initiating the most interesting storylines). Anyway, L&C became the missing link, wiping Superboy from the collective memory and doing the split from the late 70ies-Reeve-Superman to the age, where the tech used or developed by the villains was not complete science fiction any more, but appeared in reality, in parallel to the show (laser, sound and ray weapons, space stations, robotics, cloning, ...).
Bravo, that was a great reaction. I totally agree about the series. The presentation was great work and patience and time and love to show it was great. I love everything about it Dean. He is my favorite Superman, but he is my favorite hat by for the best lowest lowest comes close, is the new lowest from super low And nothing is as good as Lois and Clark but Supman and law is the next best thing and Dean Kane is my favorite is superman and Terry. Hancher is the best Lois in those current show. I like to think it is a sequel two Lewis and Clark what happened if there was a fifth or six season because they had the kids they were missing in the show children’sc Have powers That takes place mostly in Smallville after Clark parents die still look at it. It’s really worth watching, thanks for the fun until next time
Character actor:Lyle Talbot was the first on camera performer to play"Lex Luthor"/"The Atom Man"in the second and last "Superman"movie serial:"Atom Man Vs.Superman"..Andrew.
The shows in the 90's were done differently to shows now. There were some excellent episodes, but the problem that plagued the 90's were pre-determined production orders; so they would have to do 20 episodes to meet the production order. I really like the tone of the show and I think it would be so great to see this type of show today but with more a more focused narrative across 10 episodes and of course much better special effects. Other than that, the show was excellent.
I read years ago that the reason they replaced Jimmy with Justin Whalen was to better compete with Jonathan Brandis from SeaQuest as a young heartthrob. I have no problem with the newer Jimmy. If he would have had the role from the start I would have liked him just fine, but I do prefer the original Jimmy better. Edit: dang, Justin's Jimmy got to date Denise Richards AND Kristana Loken (from Terminator 3)? Dude the first guy totally missed out.
Season 1: Clark falls for Lois... Season 2: Lois falls for Clark.. Season 3: They've Got A Lot To Talk About... Season 4: No kidding, their finally married.😊
You made a fantastic review video about this show. It’s a shame we never got to see or know what season five would’ve been like for the show. I wonder if the people behind the show ever considered making a Supergirl and Jimmy Olsen adventure series? OR since they did look alike, returning Michael Landes as a guess star to play Superboy from the future. He’d be Lois and Clark’s great, great, great grandson. Proving they did have children. Your favorite Lois is the opposite of me, next to Margot Kidder Erica Durance was the best on screen Lois Lane ever. Hatcher’s Lois was okay for comedy but couldn’t stand her behaving like a Superman fan girl in heat, her naive and gullible ways when it came to Lex Luthor AND her constantly being easily charmed by other men. I did love funny comedy moments when she gets into sticky situations. I also loved her little riffles with Cat. After seeing episode sex, lies and video I can share in the frustration of the Superman fans. I mean someone should tell them be careful how they behave in public as Lois and Superman. It’s so sad how the show abruptly ended and on such a frustrating ending. Made me wish the show would’ve just evolved into a Supergirl and Jimmy Olsen adventures. With Justin Whalin as Jimmy and Denses Richardson as Supergirl.
Great video I was 11 when it came out I watched ever episode. I think the biggest reason we didn’t have season 5 is because Teri got pregnant so maybe with ratings going back up it could have lasted another season or two between 5-7 seasons. Still a great show I too have the box set… I’ve met Dean Cain at comic con as well.
Hi I wanted to say that I have been a big fan of Superman for a long time since I was younger i own copy of original series adventures of Superman one season I do want the rest of seasons also I own a copy of Lois and Clark all season s 1 through 4 on DVD
This is a very well put together review. This is the superman I grew up with. Thing is, tv choices were limited in those days. BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4. That was it. Henceforth, most of the people I grew up with watched The New Adventure of Superman on BBC1 6pm on Saturday nights. This show always created a buzz for me; wondering how Superman would deal with the next villain. Or wondering, will Lois figure him out? What will happen when she does? This show always kept me guessing, on my toes. I still recall watching this at my grandma's house on the small portable tv. I sometimes watched at home. The special effects are dated now. But at the time they worked well. Even now I recall the feelings whenever I see them. Even though it was only 4 Series it wrapped up nicely. 🙂
Adoro essa série marcou minha adolescência Teri e Dean química incrível.Admiro Dean parece ser um ser humano incrível de muita personalidade ,grande homem.Torco para que Dean e Teri fiquem juntos na vida real merecem ser felizes❤️
I remember wondering could it have been fifth season episode when in the season 4 opening had Clark without his glasses. Do you know anything about it?
Thank you, Andrew. Brilliant Retrospective.
You're still the best Superman, very under rated.
You nailed it, man. The show was just...pure in the heart which currently society drastically needs
Facts I’ve watched boy meets world again cuz the wholesome vibe frrl

Completely agree - I think it’s a reflection of how completely backward Hollywood is behind the curtain.
Probably because Hollywood writers themselves can't hold down stable mature partnerships.
@@RAP-SKULLION I wholeheartedly agree, but even they'd have to admit a rocky relationship or a divorce is interesting!
Fair points….and Hollywood of all cultures should know that lol

Watching it again on Tubi. I was 9 when the show started airing. Good times. 😊
I love Lois and Clark. I have also got the DVDs. I was telling my daughter this morning that in this version of Superman his greatest power is the power of his heart and that power is the one we all have.
Falou bonito👋
Clark Kent came first. I think Superman as a character is at his best when he identifies as Clark Kent and considers Superman to be the disguise.
I would think that that would be the case with all versions of him, seeing that he was raised as "Clark Kent", not "Superman".
@@Optimegatrongodzilla you'd think so but Christopher Reeve was clearly putting on the act with Clark Kent.
@@ZakynthosDiamandis It is true that with some versions, he puts on an accident-prone act when he moves to Metropolis.
@@ZakynthosDiamandis Yes and no. He put on the act, but he also wanted people to like him as Clark Kent.
I would watch it on Sony television in Mexico every summer I visited. It was one of the few shows in English with subtitles and I just fell in love.
@@andrewgordon5016 Dean cain had my favorite flying. BTW, great review!
I remember leaving my neighborhood friends on Sunday nights to go in and watch the latest Lois and Clark. Great show.
Happy 30th Anniversary Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman!!!
ive only seen bits n peices as a kid n now currently rewatching ngl the episode 1 season 1 has caught my heart its charming and that music really does something to you its so nostalic
Incredible Cast and Crew of Lois and Clark, The New Adventures of Superman
I fully enjoyed this Andrew it really took me back to an amazing time of my life. I appreciate your works. Much love
My favourite show when it aired, thank you for this awesome recap. I really need to rewatch the whole series soon.
Same here I started to watch Lois and Clark when I was very young and that was my first introduction to Superman and it will forever be for me there is no other Superman or Clark Ken!
This is my favorite incarnation of Clark, Lois, and Superman.
This show is the most important part of my life ❤
P.S.: I have some quicktime 7 360 files, where you can see Perry's office, Daily Planet, Clark's apartment and interactive shelf with Clark's suits (obviously, all of this from L&C) also I have full collection of cards from 1995 about L&C
Nicely put together review. Brought back some great memories!
I remember watching this show as a kid, i guess i was about 13, great show
Thank you so much for reminding me of that great show!
This was an awesome show. They did an amazing job. It’s tough to do a live action superhero show on a shoestring TV budget, but they made it work.
Loved this show as a kid.

In many ways, "Lois & Clark" succeeded where "Man of Steel" hadn't:
Clark's life, was used to, show despite his powers he was the Son of two humans who instilled in him 'a way' greater than any country or planet.
But of two people who showed him compassion and SAVED him.
A message we all can learn from.
Thanks for doing this. It was great. Loved the show and Dean and Teri were great together. The supporting cast was also great.
Bravo!!! Well Done! Thank you for the energy and effort it took to make this...
I'm a 90s kid that intro music is my childhood love it
I had to watch this video after finishing season one.
Underrated Series ❤. Ps. Smallville Is My All Time Favorite Live Action Superhero Show Long Time Superman Fan!.
You(narrator) absolutely nails Dean & Terri's character portraiture of Clark/Superman & Lois...thank you😉
you have to remember the kind of tv we had back then. Hell I had a black and white 19 inch tv, the show looked great on it and it looked good on the family’s 32 inch color tv. Yes on today’s tvs even the movie looks bad..
Thanks for the video. Dean Cain may not have been the best Superman, but he was definitely the best Clark Kent.
Great Job! I really enjoyed this video essay.
Loved this Retrospective👍
Really well done! Would love see this in depth analysis on smallville and Superman TAS
Thanks for making this Video, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is Definitely a Great Show.😃👍💙❤
Great Video I was 16 when this came out Terri Hatcher Wow 😍😍😍
Lois & Clark will always be looked down on and that's a shame because this really is the superior Superman series. All four seasons have much to offer although Season 3 will always be my favourite for the stories told.
I was in my mid to late teens watching this great show in the UK Saturday early Evening 😅 god my memory is good this or Baywatch on the other main terrestrial channel at the same time 😂
I really love this video.
I Admire your Mind, Your Love For The Not Do DARK Days And Your Passion For Transparency. You Are An Awesome Teacher
This was my first introduction to superman to even before the comics. I agree bout Lois, Hatcher was brill. Pritty sure in the uk it was just called the new adventures of superman tho. I rember dean kane being on kids Saturday morning tv showing how they did the flying special fx
The season 2 Christmas episode having the Jeffersons and having dom irerra and denise Richards is a crazy lineup of guest stars
I loved Tracy Scoggins as Captain Lochley in season 5 of Babylon 5. 😊
it was always on sundays nights @ 8pm until the end of the 4th season when it was suddenly moved around
Excellent video!! I loved Lois and Clark series. I have susbscribed to your channel!
Subscribed because you did a video on Lois & Clark as a fan!
I Remember When TNT Would run Marathons of This Incredible TV Show
I loveeeeeeeeee Lois & Clark!
Anyway, L&C became the missing link, wiping Superboy from the collective memory and doing the split from the late 70ies-Reeve-Superman to the age, where the tech used or developed by the villains was not complete science fiction any more, but appeared in reality, in parallel to the show (laser, sound and ray weapons, space stations, robotics, cloning, ...).
i absolutely love season 1 of L&C - didnt like the change in tone of the series when season 2 rolled around ( i still watch it of course).
It’s really worth watching, thanks for the fun until next time
Also amazing video 😊🥰 and one of my favorite series once again.
Character actor:Lyle Talbot was the first on camera performer to play"Lex Luthor"/"The Atom Man"in the second and last "Superman"movie serial:"Atom Man Vs.Superman"..Andrew.
I have a photo from the same day as your image of you with dean & teri!
9:09 I agree with you! Teri Hatcher is the best Lois Lane, so far!
Here after Dean Cain promoted this video on his Twitter
Season 1: Clark falls for Lois...
Season 2: Lois falls for Clark..
Season 3: They've Got A Lot To Talk About...
Season 4: No kidding, their finally married.😊
Thank you!
Hi I wanted to say that I have been a big fan of Superman for a long time since I was younger i own copy of original series adventures of Superman one season I do want the rest of seasons also I own a copy of Lois and Clark all season s 1 through 4 on DVD
the asteroid episode about
CLARK'S amnesia
was good
This is a very well put together review. 🙂
"Tempus"was not a super crook created for this tv series..he was first seen in one of"The Superman"comic books as a mad clock maker.
i loved this version too
now tell me if im wrong but that is an aussie accent if i ever heard one. thanks for the video mate
Certainly is
Adoro essa série marcou minha adolescência Teri e Dean química incrível.Admiro Dean parece ser um ser humano incrível de muita personalidade ,grande homem.Torco para que Dean e Teri fiquem juntos na vida real merecem ser felizes❤️
Hi, love this sooo much! Thank you for posting.
What's the name of the song at the end of the video?
It’s called ‘Lois & Clark’s New Home’ and was used at the end of the episode titled ‘Brutal Youth’. It’s on the Lois & Clark soundtrack
I remember wondering could it have been fifth season episode when in the season 4 opening had Clark without his glasses. Do you know anything about it?
