  • As I am going through waves of emotions and processing that we left Turunç, there will be a series of videos which I filmed, but did not edit. At some point of time, I quitted editing, as I was too eager to do and film as much as I could before leaving. Now I have all those pieces of video that I can work with and wrap my sadness with joy of remembering.

Music is exclusively written by Matthew Borun, here is a link for his soundcloud - / shbkeys
Also audio is superbly supervised by Nataliya Radina - / milen4ik
I would not be able to edit three tracks audios so beautifully by myself

I am an artist, book art director, nature nerd, and I love filming.
Here on this channel I invite you to join my artistic journey and also exploration of local curiosities. I live in a small town, almost a village. And I experience this big change in my life - from 15ml megapolis to a 1k village. From one culture to another. It is exciting at times, but also challenging, complex and deep.

I'd feel odd filming myself crying and grieving, too. But there's something about videos that makes it possible to share something without showing it in a in-your-face sort of way. My late friend used to say that for him art is about helping others process their complex emotions, not just for the artist to process their own. I'm thinking about it a lot. And that's probably how I do my videos in a way too. I need to have processed my stuff internally enough before I'm ready to share it. Anyway, a wall of text here, but really, just thank you for sharing these lovely memories and your thoughts along with them 🧡

So agree with you - to make videos gives an opportunity to come back and enjoy details that so easy to forget.
