Thank you for giving me a look at what life is like at this place, I’m going there as a mechanical engineering major this fall. I toured the campus on my birthday and ended up loving it
Great video! I’ve been accepted to UNCC for engineering, but I’m still waiting on my decision from NC State since I got deferred, but I know a lot of people praise State for having one of the best engineering programs in NC but I’m really liking UNCC for the location, campus, and hopefully the engineering courses wouldn’t be quite as rigorous as I’ve heard state’s are. Did you look into State in the beginning? How would you compare the two? Thanks!
I never looked into going to North Carolina State. I just didn’t get the same feeling there as I did from UNC Charlotte. Both school are great but I, of course, and bias towards my school. I feel that it has done a great job preparing me for the work force, teaching me how to think critically, and be successful in my professional life. I think North Carolina State is a great school but I 100% recommend UNC Charlotte. The campus is so pretty, there’s a good sense of community, and Charlotte is an amazing city!
@@youngeryoung22 I can completely understand that, I’ve always considered NC State my competitive and “dream” school until this year, but I just keep coming back to UNCC for its campus, location, and not to mention they’ve already offered me merit scholarships, financial aid, and a place within the honors program! Definitely feel more at home with the option at UNCC, and unless NCSU really steps it up then it looks like I’ll be calling UNCC home next fall. Thanks for the advice!

Nazir Ponton I honest don’t remember exactly but I have about a 3.9 unweighted GPA in high school and I didn’t take the ACT. I took the SAT and got a 1790 I think. I don’t really know what I recommend. All I know is that UNCC is getting harder and harder to get into due to its growth. Thanks for the question! :)
Hey I was actually researching UNCC recently and wondering how hard it is to get in. I am actually from Boston, but really like the school. My gpa is about a 4.1/4.5 (3.6/4). I am not very good at the SATs however, my PSAT score was around a 1010. I also am taking all honors and an AP class. Just wondering if you think I’d get accepted.
Bassin-n-Splashin I am not entirely sure on the exact stats of most of the accepted students. But from talking with some friends, your scores are similar to what many people had in high school. I do know that UNCC is becoming more and more difficult to get into due to its size. It is one of the fastest growing universities in North Carolina. I think you have a great chance to get accepted!

IKR! But I am a long distant commuter, so I cannot take it in or I would be a walking zombie throughout the day and be a danger on the road in the other side.
I think you really captured the essence of how life is going to UNC Charlotte. It really felt like I was attending this school
