I was at my slip on the 4th of July in the Marina. I hated these types of DRUNK seasonal transient moorage people. One of these DRUNKEN operators ( so called captain) came into slip on next dock over. He TOOK out the support beams ( wood)
That attachment to the roof of slips. Broke the big 4 × 4 wood beams. Trying drunkenly to get into his slip. He would just power up fast as he tried to re-dock his vessel very similar to this one. The people on the dock watching the Fireworks told the Marina staff. He TOLD no one. Again I state these are the Warner weather transient moorage people. I hated them. They would set up the big crab burner pot on the docks. This is a big NONo in Marina RULES ( no open flames on docks) they would have all there DRUNK friends and family come down and cook crab with open flame on dock
On my dock a very embarrassing thing happened to me in front of my wife. A very drunk spouse she came on my 24 foot boat, and in front of her husband and my wife, tried to gab me and want to "KISS 💋" I was in shock. Her husband would "NOT" call her back to there boat. My wife who has a wonderful brain. Very politely got her OFF my boat and walked her back to Her husband. 😊 The moral of the story is never let a drunk boater spouse on your own vessel. Being drunk and operating a vessel can Destroy a dock ( I witnessed it) and keep your drunk spouse below decks in cabin 😊
