Took State Highway 32 along the western sjde of Lake Taupo to reach Turangi. Was amazed at the scenery and am now hoping to try the other forgotten Highways for the next roadtrip! Awesome video. Very educational 😎

Where in NZ is this road please? I grew up in New Zealand and before I left I travelled the length and breadth of the country by Motorcycle and I haven’t ever seen anything like that tunnel.

Its the Forgotten World Highway (SH43) Runs from Taumarunui to Stratford
