My heart always says that D.Cooper jumped near Reno or somewhere when the aircraft were to descent and dumped a little bit money and the sign of the boeing near columbia river..
He was all alone in the cockpit and could do whatever he wanted.
Even hit the staircase to make noise..

Don't forget the story of postulated Cooper suspect Walter Reca meeting part time country musician Jeff Osiadacz at the country diner at Tenaway Junction near Cle Elum, Washington on the night of November 24, 1971. Osiadacz was on his way to play a date at the local Grange Hall as a substitute for a another musician who was ill. Osiadacz provided instructions to a friend of Reca's on how to drive to the location from the Seattle area. Osiadacz was using a dump truck as his personal transportation at that time.
Osiadacz in a live interview seemed honest and sincere, but the whole story could have been a constructed scenario.

Why? What sense would that make? Just risked my life for this money, lemme immediately bury it in the woods in a place I've never been.

Does it matter? It was coach not 1st class so likely a cheaper brand.

The plane had a maintenance area accessible though a panel in the floor. He could have stayed on the plane. Unlikely though.

The Reno FBI brought dogs onto the plane.

@@joinjen3854 What kind of dogs? All I know about the dogs is that they ate the meals D.B. had ordered for the crew. The crew refused these and they left sitting on the seats.

@@anonymike8280 I do not know the breed of dogs. Police K9 are usually German shepherds or basset hounds with the great sniffers. They likely would have sniffed Cooper out quickly after letting the dogs sniff the tie. Or the FBI was so incompetent that Cooper snuck off later.

@@joinjen3854 Dogs are trained for specific purposes and individual dogs have different capabilities.
There are three kinds of scent tracking dogs as far as I know. They are, dogs trained to find any human being, dogs trained to find a deceased human being, and dogs trained to track a specific human being. I have never heard of the dogs brought on the plane in Reno being trained in locating the presence of a human being by scent.
Possibly, dogs trained in tracking a specific human being could have been given the scent on the necktie or the seat and then tracked Cooper's movements, including down the stairs. The FBI obviously thought this was unnecessary. Their immediate conclusion was, since Cooper was not visibly on the place, he therefore had left the plane. It is highly likely that he had, but not impossible that he was still there. As far I know they made no further search than to look in the immediately available hiding spots in the passenger cabin.
You're crediting the authorities with doing thing that they in fact had not done. Repeat, the dogs brought on the plane were not tracking dogs. If you have evidence to the contrary, put it on the table.

@@anonymike8280 the FBI decided fairly quickly that Cooper died in the jump. I think there that gross incompetence. I have no idea what dogs they brought on. Cooper may have stowed away in avionics or cargo hold. I doubt they released cargo in Seattle. A mystery.

You mentioned checking attics. Dan Gryder did. In the attic of Richard Floyd McCoy’s mother, he found Cooper’s NB-8 chute, the one with unique modifications made by Earl Cossey. There’s the proof of which you spoke. Why is the Cooper research community largely silent on this discovery? Okay, your candidate wasn’t the one-most people went out of their way to discount McCoy. I can only estimate this is because of poor logic and intellect, frankly. He looked like the sketch, more than any other person. He looked to be in his 40s (though he was much younger). Same hairline/complexion. He had the requisite military experience to make the jump. Heck, he made the same jump five months later and people couldn’t see the writing on the wall. He used identical phrases in his notes to the stewardesses. He specifically put the refueling truck in identical locations relative to the plane. He was confirmed to be in Las Vegas (i.e. money laundering) immediately after flight 305. And even his children have now come forth, admitting to the family secret. You all may have financial incentives to keep the mystery alive. So you’ll have to get a real job. Maybe you don’t like Dan Gryder. Well, he did the work. He tracked down sources. He got the interviews. He found the proof. Okay, feel pissy for a weekend. But for heaven’s sake, get over it and give the man his due. He cracked the case. The smoking gun is on the table.
