Awesome mix; thanks for making it accurate :] i think i might stick around a bit to see your others videos. Great work! Also, small question i just thought about; do "scary" musics really scare others, like they get a genuine feeling of fear; or do they just think it goes well with a situation that would be scary irl? I just remembered i've been asking myself this; and have no idea if most truly feel certain feelings listening to these types of musics, or if it's more of a concept.
This is something science has addressed. There are theories, & studies about how music (or even sound as a whole) have an impact on the way you feel. From what I've read, it has something to do with the hormones produced in your brain. A certain type of music will produce various hormones. Example: If you listen to Drum & Bass, it's likely that you will produce adrenaline, making you either stressed or energized. Music theory can explain this as well, I think. I don't know much about music theory, but I know that major notes will sound happy while minor notes will sound sad, for example. From what I've experienced, I'd say it depends on how receptive you are to the music's emotional content. When I feel those emotions from music, it because I'm willing to feel it. When I don't open myself to those emotions, I don't really feel anything.
@@Jugdjay I know about music's impact in general on emotions; and how people can be more or less receptive depending on the type of music and situation. I think the topic of your answer, and the topic of my question were a bit different; tho, the last part was more leaning towards what I was wondering. I meant to ask something more specific; could trauma be translated through music, and could its strength be similar to the one the listener feels, the hormones produced having more impact than just making them more careful ? Also, could this specific music theme be able to transcend the situation, and/or could there be any other themes doing the same ? I appreciate your attempt at responding and explaining; I'm struggling a bit to word my question (s) correctly, so apologies for that. Hope this still made it clearer.
