As a cyclist and current Ottawa resident I was eager to watch this episode. You are right that Ottawa enjoys an extensive and diverse cycling infrastructure. However it was a little confusing and or misleading that the video clips didn’t correspond to the trail or route you were speaking about
Thanks for leaving the comment. And I agree that it is a great area and network of biking trails. The difficulty with producing videos as you could probably appreciate is trying to get sufficient B roll that you can use without any royalty issues. So hence the reason why there was probably a disconnect with where the bike and trails are being shown in terms of what I was saying on the video.
here's the thing about riding in ottawa tho, esp for those of that just moved here- there is no guide that says 'park here, ride this route for a 5k ride' or 'start here for a 10k ride' it's just lots of options to try thru trial and error. all that to stay , they are a secret because there is no easy information to read about the routes other than they exist.

Came for the bike paths. Left because of the narcissist.
