Jeff Bassa, Marcus Harper, Pancho, Donte Manning, Jordan James, Bryce Beottcher, Josh Conerly. None of those players are transfers, and Oregon isn’t undefeated without them.
I agree with Aaron's first statement. Oregon is finding a way to win, but they are beatable. Absolutely. But they are not "very, very beatable." What Aaron omits is that they are also capable of *beating* every single team in this country and doing it without fail, thus far. Don't forget! The Dux also had the stress of entering a new-to-them, old school conference, against traditional powers, in huge stadiums with rabid fans. Plus, a lot of taxing travel to get used to. Two and three thousand mile trips. They travelled the most miles of any team in the country (at least as of a few weeks ago). I think this makes what they have done thus far, more remarkable than finding fault lines. Freaking LOVED that Lanning came in and took their 4th qtr tradition and used it to motivate the team. To provide a little memory association to make the fourth quarter transition autonomic. Positively. Very cool. Very innovative. Love my Dux.

I think this show is taped early in the week becsuse there is news on ohio states line, and tez announced he is back. No mention of either one of those news bits
Honestly we looked bad against Wisconsin but that was the last of an 8 game stretch with a lot of conference games and we had a lot of players over coming injuries we needed a bye week
I think lack of Tez was an even greater reason for the struggle than the need for a bye--though the bye was badly needed! Stewart did a great job early against their "lock down corner" Hallman, but that battle tilted the other way as the game went on, and it really limited the offense. I'm glad Ferguson stepped up for some clutch grabs because the other WRs were quiet. Oregon's D got better as the game went on. I was surprised Lanning went for it on the late 4th down, but it was pretty low risk considering how great the defense was playing. I actually like the call because it's another wrinkle opponents need to prepare for. Oregon's offense and special teams now have plenty of game experience with these high pressure 4th down or trick play situations. Might come in handy later this year!
I didn't like it. Take the 3 to go up 6 and force Wisconsin to get a TD instead of a FG to send it to OT. Granted, the Oregon defense did play better as the game went on (even though they did play well entirely).
I still like Holden as a WR, but they rarely play him. He did a lot of blocking last game, but he was open too. Design some plays around him too and I think it can help.
Joey said the offense doesn't have a rhythm. I believe this is the result of having a transfer QB for just one year. Its only been 11 games. Have 25-36 games with 3-4 receivers and is comfortable with how each receiver runs their route? Well then... Pretty incredible they are as good as they are considering the patchwork of the progrum
Since they are guaranteed to play in CCG, and the winner of that will be a 1 or 2 seed, they might want to be cautious in the UW game like not play anyone with nagging injuries- even if it leads to a loss. You need your key guys healthy for championship game and playoffs.
As annoying as he is, Aaron makes this show more entertaining, because he challenges them to defend their takes which creates better analysis for us the fans.
These college players are all good, they wouldn't be playing college ball if they weren't, any given Saturday anyone can win , we've all seen the upsets happen ok, it happens, don't forget these players are young men that are still learning
I ,personally, have a ton of respect for Joey. He set the bar for the (now) standard Ducks quarterback. He was great on the field and is a class act off of the field.

He was able to adjust on the fly with new rules and use them to his advantage. A positive, not a negative concerning his roster building ability.
Aaron, Jump Around, wtf? How many coaches do you know or read of that have prepped their team for the opponent’s crowd-raising methods? This argument is just trolling. So EVEN better…have the team prepare a unique cheer for each upcoming opponent that the team and coaches cheer in unison to the opponent once the game is over, regardless of outcome. [may want two cheers; one for a win, one for a loss]. People who play the now professional sport of Ultimate have been doing this for decades (both teams usually do it). This fosters respect and fun for oneself, teammates, and the opponent, regardless of how much animosity exits between them. Having done it with many teams for many years, the team plays better.
@ Aaron, thanks for the reply. For clarity, and since you didn’t answer my question, what part of what I wrote says Lanning’s Pavlov ploy is common in football? I am assuming you are not referring to my cheer suggestion. I think using cheers (respectful ones) would improve football, even though it is a violent sport.
