Great video as always; I think Belgium has the potential to do well in a dual platoon setup because you can take heavy artillery, which is a good way of dealing with enemy armor. And since everything else you have is cheap, and you don't really feel bad leaving your armor at home, you can keep your artillery pretty safe while running double mortars, double heavy howitzers, a free medium artillery, and then infantry/cav to push the enemy (possibly carried in Berliets). For the Berliet, I think the best unit to put in it is a 6-man veteran Chasseurs Ardennais with Tough Fighters, so that if people try to jump the transport they meet a tough-as-nails list that gets Tough Fighters for dirt cheap (don't have to pay for SMGs, only costs 1pt), and once you drop them off they can take and hold an objective for you.
I’ve been trying out Belgians for competitive play and I’ve had the most luck with using the Belgian Veteran infantry which can be upgraded to tough fighter, and putting them in the carriers. While they don’t have great AT, if you really need to you can bring a Medium AT gun. However I’m a much bigger fan of the combination of AT rifle, Bofors heavy autocannon for artillery, and ACG-1 which has a light AT gun and recce. You might struggle to kill armor, but you can definitely pin things. And the light AT and Bofors have the potential to kill a Stuart. I’m just really hoping now that we get a book like case blue for the minor allied nations that give them a bunch of new unique special rules. I also tend to grab a veteran FT to deal with one man turret more reliably.
I say the AMC-35 tank was known as the ACG-1 in Belgium service is pretty good for them as it is only a few French tanks that does not suffer from the 1 man turret rule. But sadly out of the 10 that Belgium had before the invasion only 2 ever got a chance at engaging the Germans the rest either got destroyed or suffered mechanical problems and either was destroyed by their crews or abandoned.
I have large Belgium force as I used to play Battlegroup with it so it was my first Bolt Action force. Best options Bofors and Medium Howitzer,Chassurs,AMC 35 tank in the armoured car slot,you are limited to one unit of Grenadiers per platoon,FT-17 ,medium mortar ,Berliner APC,tricar for a cheap MMG . Using the Juggernaut selector will give some extra flexibility but you only have a limited range of units to pick from .The odd thing is they have 8 transport options but we’re only at war for 16 days compared to the likes of Romanians/Hungarians who were at war for 4 years and only have access to a truck.🧐🤔

@@boltactiontutorialsbybomor3846 Everyone tends to larger chunkier platoons and the multi platoon lists don't really get played here. A lot of SMG/assault rifle heavy lists. Not too much in the way of armour mostly light tanks and armoured cars feature.
