Paragliding extreme glider control. Expert Powered Paragliding pilot flying PG without a paramotor. PPG mastery of paramotoring tips. This is the best video of the series.
If your ready to take your first flight, Super Training is my 10-day paramotor training school where I personally take you from never having touched the glider to a master pilot in only 10-days. I do 5 training classes a year with 15 students a class down in Corpus Christi, Texas. I've been running these training classes for 18 years and have trained over 700 students safely.
Totally awesome video and teaching! You totally rock Dell!! Love your videos and how you pass your passion and enthusiasm to the rest of the world! Keep uploading these videos. I can never get bored with your videos.
Thanks again!
Dell, thanks for all of these vids. I don't fly yet, but, am learning a bit already. Especially how fun it must be.
This is absolutely amazing. There's a part in this video that you show how to lose height while 'Pumping the Brakes + Wingovers'.
This technique got to be one of the most effective ways, if not the best tool you have when/if the wind started picking up and you're dangerously getting blown back behind the hill.
I can't believe that no-one told me about this technique. It's also sad that some pilots stay away from butterfly landing(pumping the brakes) thinking that its a taboo technique.
This technique (pumping the brakes + wingovers) is so far the best technique that I saw to get out of an emergency situation.
I'm gonna practice more of it. Thanks Dell! Love watching your videos.

Yes wingovers is for sure the best way to lose altitude. Sadly so many teach big ears which is pretty much useless as you lose control of the wing and it doesn't work near as well. Wingovers should be learned at SUPER training though as there is a lot more to them than people realize. Plus the gear you fly is absolutely critical. So many are on wings that are waaay to big and waaay to slow to give a good safety balance to prevent you from being blown backwards. Flapping or butterfly as you call it works well but it's best to learn it below 2 feet of altitude so that if you mess and stall the wing you don't have far to fall. Again the gear you fly is absolutely critical. Many wings out there are not forgiving once they hit that stall point and drop back into the stall quickly. The Dominator is insanely safe and gives tons of warning and feedback and then even if you hit stall point it will forgive you if you get your hands back up. Skills start at SUPER training though as people really need to first master true and real glider control before they start pushing to other techniques as having a solid base is absolutely critical. Call 800-707-2525 and we will get you rocking to a level not possible any other way. :)
So full of spirit and mood. Nice video!
Ur enthusiam brings a smile to my job lol. U make it look so easy. Brilliant control. Thanks.
That's what I'm talking about! Love the control.

Dell, great stuff
You are like Spiderman in slomo! :)
Loved it!
@imasuper0308 thanks for your responce and input. I have enjoyed all your You Tube postings they have helped to relize that this is not an easy sport that i want to get involved in and as far as i can tell its going to be an expensive one too. thanks again
Quality. Floating about like a big mad buzzard :-D
Got to give it a go
você é incrível!!!!
Awesome skillz.

Muito bom, eu voo aqui do brasil de paraglider eu amo muito esse esporte.
parabéns pelo seu video Muito bommmmmmmmmmmmm.
Your the coolest cat I now Dell.
Makes a person want to run out and buy one, nice vid Dell
It really is the coolest thing ever IF you get the gear and training I recommend. There is a lot of trash out there so it is definitely critical to get started the right way. Let's go flying!!!
wow! super video!!
My Advance epsilon 9 has 11:1 glide ratio and its a low EN B glider, LOVE IT!!
Yes there are some pretty efficient wings on the market but most like that are nowhere near as safe as a wing like the Dominator. There is a huge difference and it's bigger than people might realize that it would be between A and B class. Efficiency also depends on the wing loading so while the EOS can get a 12:1 glide ratio the Dominator is actually MORE efficient. Since the Dominator set the paramotor world speed record at 51 mph you also know that it's the most efficient glider on the market as speed is all about efficiency since with limited power the more efficient wing will make a higher top speed before you run out of power to maintain altitude. So you would be very surprised at the outcome when you start checking your gliders max speed. I was quite shocked when the Dominator beat the EOS comp glider badly. Of course safety also depends on skill level. Can you kite up a wall like SUPER students can? ua-cam.com/video/geha95mEtoY/v-deo.html if you didn't take SUPER training you should really take a very honest look at what you can and can't do. Either you have the skills or you don't. If you don't have these skills then flying a higher aspect ratio far less safe glider like the Epsilon 9 could be much worse than you actually realize. Since SUPER training is the only paragliding school in the world teaching true and real skills to new students the odds of you actually having the skills new SUPER students can have is highly unlikely. So while one can talk about glide ratio as a sales pitch there is much more to it than just a number on a piece of paper which very likely is quite different than what you think it is as you obviously won't actually get an 11:1 glide ratio from that glider. If you don't have SUPER skills then it would just make sense to take SUPER training and gain all the real skills and technique you may have missed. It can make not just a life & death difference but changes the whole sport for people when they gain truly expert level skills and beyond. It's much more fun when you have truly incredible skills. Just call 800-707-2525.
@@DellSchanze Cool, thanks for the reply!
thanks for the hints, will try that at the coastline cliff here. would you think it works the same way for a dhv 1-2 glider?
This is great!!!
Hey man nice vid. With the small wing overs in the lift band is that just weight shift or are you controlling with the breaks whilst pumping?
nice job
@imasuper0308 your video inspire me. I was wondering, can I fly like that with my Buzz Z3? I'm also waiting for your video on Sky Antea 2 which they say has a huge improvement compared to the old Antea so that would be interesting to see you fly it.
Hi John, I looking to buy a wing of my own, would you recomend the Sky Antea for a newbie flyer? could you recommend any reading materal? thanks for the video, impressive wing!!
nice control, like.
hey sir whats the model of the wing your using and the brand name? thanks..
hey sir whats the model of the wing your using and the brand name? is it a beginner wing? whats the wind speed when your doing this technics?? wow this is really nice sir.. thanks..
this is what people need to learn...
Kuleyi cox gozel hiss edir.
what size antea is that can you tell me whats a good size or the right size if you weight is around 135 145lbs
man. you are good.
Will this KZ handle both? paragliding /paramotor use? Also can i use it for tendem?
Sorry newbie question for u thanks...
i really want to get the antea m size it would be better in weaker wind conditions can you tell me more about weight i read how to see what size glider is right for u you, take you weight and you add 20kg and it should put you at the take weight, do you knwo the cost of an m size antea
The K2 is better in pretty much every single way other than speed. So all my latest videos you see me flying the K2 instead of the Antea. The Antea 2 is pretty fast but not as stable as the K2 and it doesn't handle quite as well. Also if you want the same speed you can just drop one size on the K2 and then it should be about the same. So I would just go with the K2 mainly. The new Blacklight from U-Turn is another glider to look at. Very fast, most efficient certified EN-B glider ever made
@kpjot did the helmet come with the glider?
Point of the mountain, north side?
Is there a weight limit for this type of thing compared to skydiving? I'm 6'0, 350lbs and want to do this oooo badly, since skydiving has a weight limit......Any help would be awsome!
super super super klass
this is a swiss wing :-) I love Sky paragliders
Um dia serei tão bom quanto você
Hi Dell. by any chance do you remember wind speed the day of this video. jejeje just because I am training and sometimes I feel too much wind after 20 kms winds.
Ug WHO are you "training" with? It is so critical in this sport to get SUPER training because almost no other instructors can even do what our brand new students can do. So I would stop doing what ever you are doing and call me because you life really depends on it. 800-707-2525. Very few ever recover from bad training. Once you start doing things wrong it quickly becomes habit and you simply never recover. So it's absolutely critical to get SUPER training right up front. There are sooooooo many bogus instructors out there who never had a day of proper training in their life and who don't know even the most basic things about the sport. We are still in the first generation of the sport where everyone was self trained so the vast majority of instructors out there don't know crap for crap. Call me right away and let's check as you really don't want to get that wrong.
I wish I had this kind of glider control..
But then I'm still relatively new to the sport.
Take SUPER training and you will have this level of control. Don't get into the sport without SUPER training. Call 800-707-2525 or 801-631-1731. Why get trained from people that are not masters? You can't learn something from those that don't know it. Sadly there are sooooo many out there acting as instructors who literally don't even know the most basic things about the sport. Get SUPER training. It will completely change your whole experience of the sport.
Isn't that fun! Great skills - Let me know what you think of my video - Also - Can I email you next time I'm headded to UT? Perhaps you could guide me around the area. Thanks!
the part about this sport that I envy is the ...... pure silence.
How much parashut plz I want to purchase this...
Contact me anytime at ppghero@gmail.com or call me at 801-631-1731. There is actually a newer wing now that is better then this wing in every way. So the Dominator is the wing you want. Give me a shout and I can hook you up with the very best.
how much does an average paraglider cost?
We have them anywhere from $500 - $4500 with a huge selection of both new & used. Give me a call anytime and I can help you pick something out that is really cool and in your price range. 800-707-2525
The Greatest of all Aviator sins...is that of crashing into a planet.
This happens when the Spiderman takes wings. :-)
HELLO, My name is John. I live in Cape Town, South Africa (the most beautiful city in the world. I am 72 and have just started learning paragliding. I am most impressed with your glider control and would like to be able to control like that. How can I achieve your degree of excellence. I know you are going to say...PRACTICE. But I need more than that.
Thanks. Cheers. John
John Lazarus John I'm just starting paragliding myself but I'm curious about your age looks like you're pretty much near 80 today are you still flying
It's not actually practice that makes perfect but rather perfect practice that makes perfect. So it's absolutely critical to come do SUPER training as pretty much no other instructors can even do what my students do let alone their students do what my students do. There are so many little details to glider control that you just don't see unless you know exactly what you are looking at. How the wing is loaded is very critical. So many just think it's only about keeping the glider up but that is only day 1 step 1. The 2nd step is to be able to reverse kite with no hands on the controls at all. Again almost no instructors out there can even do that so people are being taught wrong and backwards. For those that really want to have true and real skills they need to call 800-707-2525 or 801-631-1731. No matter how long you have been paragliding definitely come take SUPER training anyway so you can learn all those little pieces you are missing. It will make a huge difference even for people who have been flying 15-20 years already. You either have absolute total control of the glider or you don't. Almost none out there actually do and they never will without SUPER training because people who learn wrong just keep doing it wrong over and over year after year until they actually come take SUPER training and fix all the bad habits.
Don't even think about taking lessons anywhere but SUPER training. I wish there were other instructors actually teaching people but it just isn't reality. Literally almost no instructors out there can even do something as basic as reverse kiting with no hands. Before you take training with anyone LOOK at their skill level. Ask them to demonstrate reverse kiting with no hands for several minutes without any issues. Ask them to kite up a post and balance themselves perfectly on top with the glider. Sadly most just get chucked off a hill so they simply don't have that solid base of masterly level skills. Then people crash and get seriously injured all the time and people just think it was an accident when it absolutely was not. People are just not learning any real skill at all and without true active piloting a paraglider is over 5000 times more likely to collapse. The only school in the world I've seen teaching these skills is SUPER training. That's it. Call me at 800-707-2525 or 801-631-1731 before you do anything in the sport. Never blindly believe what anyone says. LOOK at their skill level and then LOOK at the skill level of new pilots they have trained. With me it's pretty easy as you can just search for "world's best paramotor pilot" or "world's best paramotor training" and pretty much every video is of me and SUPER training. Call me as it may very well save your life and at the very least it will save you a boatload of time and money.
