John Trudell gave us the Halluci Nation. He saw a vision of us that would take us years to realize. When starting this album we knew we needed to keep his voice as part of our work. Then when we came across this record from this first night we met, his words from all those years ago have never been more true than they are right now. He gave us the Halluci Nation but we made it real.

Great video. Great music. Love Trudell. Miss his words. Miss his wisdom. Miss his energy. Great thing is he left us a huge amount of info. A powerful legacy. We must also re-indigenouize ourselves and our reality
I'm currently dedicated to studying, and attempting to practice, my ancient ancestors culture/religion/spirituality from the Germanic tribes, who include the Norse/Scandinavian. Decolonization is key! We are so programmed today to the point of allowing everything "modern/Abrahamic/'civilized'" to infiltrate any thought or discovery about our tribal origins from the pre-Abrahamic (Christ myths, Judaism, Islam) conversions. It is 100 times more difficult to get past this tainting and wrap our brains around what life was truly like when our culture was still original and organic. The closest modern thing we have here in the USA is the Native American and/or indigenous cultres/tribes. I attend multiple pow wows annually in my local area to support and discuss the similarities and differences between our Peoples. Amazing to know my Norwegian ancestors made first contact with the American Natives 500 years before Columbus. Too bad we could not find a way to coexist back then, and it ended in bloodshed, with the retreat of those "Vikings" to Greenland and Iceland. Well, it's never too late to try again. We are all one People, the Human People. Much respect to all who attempt to get back in touch with their tribal roots, no matter what part of the world you are from (Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas).
@@HroduuulfSonOfHrodger very factual my tribal brother. But it didnt always end in bloodshed. There are many tribes of first nations peoples here in the Americas north to south America that were mixed with the germanic peoples. Im one of them. Ive come across much info years back with much evidence of their settlements and symbolism mixed in with native settlements and symbolism. There will always be conflict but over time people settle on peaceful coexistence. War back then wasn’t the way warmongering is now. One place i read about the evidence is in a magazine called ancient America. Dont know if it still exists but it had amazing info. if you search you will find much. I started in the 1990’s out of high school, when it was hard to find. Now its everywhere online. We are like you say the human tribe. One people, the tree of humanity but many cultural branches on the same tree. Live strong brother. 👋

John Trudell's album- "Tribal Voice" needs to be brought back into circulation. Re-released on c.d. , mp3, dvd; whatever platform available. It is a masterpiece that doesn't need to be left in the past.

Genetic memory is strong, the stones of the Earth speak to us through our genetic memory, our ancestors sing to us through our genetic memory, our DNA holds the key to many answers we seek. At one time, we were all Indigenous, in tribes all around the globe. We can still hear our ancestral DNA talk to us, now can we listen?
