Another nice video nev. Been watching you for a year or so now and every video gets better. Well done mate keep up the good work.
Cheers heaps Aaron! Glad you've enjoyed the vids and seen the progress mate, appreciate it!
Beautiful video with the perfect video length!
Overdue for a catch and cook😉
With lockdown, not much better than watching you catch so many quality fish. Thanks and great job!!!!
Cheers heaps Larry! Lockdowns have been super tough but hope its all over soon enough
Hi Nev
Yet again a brilliant bit of footage to watch and enjoy. Many thanks so much fun to watch as you know we are still in lockdown in the city so waiting for Dan to give us the all clear so that I can wet a line. Well done just so good to watch and once again thumbs up for the catch and release.
Cheers heaps mate! Is very tough times at the moment but hopefully Vic gets it together soon!
Awesome session Nev, thanks. Perfect way to scratch my fishing itch from a winter Sydney lockdown....
"What a football of a perch!" 😂
Great video mate 👍 never too long when you are catching good size fish! Well done!
Yewwww can't wait
Not sure how l missed this one. What an amazing session. Quality fish. I don't care how long the video is. Watch it to the end when it's that entertaining. 👍
Fantastic session
Fantastic session Nev the length of the video was perfect. It didn’t seem to take so long with all the action in it. Top fishing on the perch mate, keep up with the good work.
bro
super cool vids
inspired me to get a Yak and start attacking the estuaries in my areas
keep it up man love the tips as well.
Great vid as always! That 50 will come along and it will be so much sweeter than one on the first day 😉. Also great length always good to get a surprise longer video.
Thanks mate and I agree, it'll be much sweeter when we eventually do pull a 50. Glad you enjoyed the longer format!
Awesome length!
Man, I love your content. Your estuary fishing is so similar to ours in South Africa.
People are teasing me for casting left hand and reeling right...I knew you did the same! Has to watch to confirm suspicions
Hey nav it's me jett again cracking EP. I reckon you should come up to the sunny coast qld, to catch some bass and maybe I could come and cath my first one with you. Keep going with your
hard work mate
Cheers heaps Jett! If I ever make it up that way will for sure target some Bass, I'll let you know mate
You picked the best tide for the winter perch mate.
Excellent again mate! What knot do you use to join your light leader/braid line?
Far out dude! whopping Perch there! Hey Nev what mic are you using? It sounds great. Rode?
Im looking to get into kayak fishing. Is it okay to get one without pedals? I was going to put a little electric motor on one and i dont plan to go into the ocean. Thank you.
Nice mate. Have you kept one? And how big? Also what are they like to eat. I’m completely all in on releasing fish, just curious
Agree with releasing the big breeders. So what size do we keep to eat?
With EPs I honestly release them all, I wouldn't reccomend targetting them for a feed as they are a super vulnerable species. I'd reccomend targeting squid, whiting, smaller snapper or gummy sharks for a feed.
What lures were you using and what lures do you recommend for bream in lakes
I like the munroes 2.75 paddles for perch. For bream the curly tail 2.5s are best
When I first started fishing there over twenty years ago I’d catch large numbers of small ones and now I generally only get a few big ones.
Where is this?
Use the daiwa
From reading I found out that it takes 8 to 9 years for the perch to reach 48cm.
Do more research.
It depends on environmental factors, for example a 40cm fish was was aged at 41 yrs old whereas in absolutely perfect conditions they will obviously grow faster.
Typically systems I fish they are extremely slow growing since they are smaller systems
:)
Chase something else
Agreed. I started watching early this year and was super impressed by the videos but now it's all estuary perch so I haven't watched for a while, just came along to see if other people were thinking the same thing.....
Little bit of a longer form video so let me know what you guys think! Also what videos you want to see going into the future. (I was thinking survival trips, overnight missions etc!) let me know!
A 19 - 20 min video is the perfect length for a fishing video in my opinion
Also would love to see some bream and mulloway vids
@@beauh4148 Gotchu, both of them are on the cards :)
@@NevsFishing this is my favourite video of yours apart from a few of the squidding vids, some stonker fish in there. Keep up the good work
@@angusbaker655 Cheers mate, I enjoy these long type videos also.
