- I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ 🤎
Many “pastors” preach goodness and prosperity, and not enough preach the ACTUAL Gospel of Jesus Christ:
How the Lord came, God in the flesh, died for our sins, so that we could be saved by grace through faith, and live a godly life that’s pleasing to the Lord; loving Him, others, and repenting of our wicked desires. With faith comes salvation, and salvation the repentance of sins.
But of course, some of the world’s biggest and wealthiest pastors only preach a glamorous, half-way Gospel.
And if you ask me, they’re ashamed of the true Gospel in its entirety. Of course, no one wants to hear that they have to repent and turn from their sins. So, I understand why they try not to offend people with the harsh truths about what it really means to follow Christ, whether it’s because they get more money from telling you that you’ll prosper regardless of what you do and how you treat other people, but let’s be real, that’s NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
That’s the Gospel according to weak and money-hungry pastors who build their lives off of the image of Christ, deceiving families in the name of Jesus. THAT is false teaching. So let’s not be ashamed of the beautiful truth of Jesus Christ 🤎
